    I was figuring that it might be possible to create a virus that kills
    ONLY
    opium poppies!

    Difficult. Poppies grown in people's gardens are opium poppies. It's only
    the climate that stops em producing the opium, that way they're legal - so
    any virus will wipe out the poppies people grow for decoration as well.
