Thank heavens you didn't say Melvyns. One of him was enough - too much in fact. He's the Mangling Director of a company called Nemko now. There's an ironic co-incidence!! I wonder if he Harries the people there the same as he used to harry us. I've swiped their trademark from off of their website and I'm going to remove the 'k' and use it on my cartoons etc. should I decide to post any again. Here's a little humerus bit from my memwires. (Well I *was* working in electronics.) ". . . One huge deficiency in the way the oh-so clever Mr. Harries ran things was that, because he'd taken no inventories and had in fact ignored just about everything after the take-over, his unfair dismissal of our storeman, Bisi, and Tony's retirement, there was no-one left who knew which tools or pieces of test gear etc. in anyone's kit - including mine - were their own or the firm's or what was supposed to be in the stores. "So by failing to take a complete inventory as any true professional would have done, our oh-so-tough, oh-so-efficient, oh-so-serious, oh-so-professional (that's a laugh!) pumm-faced little Melvyn bastard saw people he'd made redundant going home one after another with no way of knowing which tools and other bits and pieces of kit they were entitled to take with them or which pieces belonged to the company! Oh dear, how sad, never mind again!" Should have networked these two PCs. I had to transfer that across using a little 1GB Flash Drive. It's not all that flash actually. It's just a little dull red thing with Verbatim writted on it and a blue light that flashes when it's doing anything. Cost ?15 ($29.34). Cheaper than a damned JAZ Drive. What a con they were!! Didn't last five minutes.

Mind you, the face he was born with was one that he would have done well to lose! ? although plastic surgery is not yet sufficiently advanced for a job like that!" Vicious little git, ain't I? )
