So you berate the right for not marching in lock-step in support of a single candidate while the left blindly marches behind BO. Then you accuse the right marching in lock-step, being spoon fed, and regurgitating talking points. Interesting how in one post you demonstrate just how it is the left that tends to be the people who most often rely on insult as a form of argumentation.
One need look no further than the continued defense of BO & his failed presidency to know that's a flat out lie. Perhaps it makes you feel better, trying to convince yourself that statement is true, but it so obviously not true.
If we are talking about lies, your statement is such a total one that I have to respond. Moen is absolutely right. If the Left marched in lockstep your asses would have been grass years ago. The fact that there is even a Republican party left on a national level is proof that we who oppose you are a diverse and independent and fractious crowd who you probably don't have to worry about very much until you do something that finally unites us. Of course there are people who defend Obama. Does this surprise you? But to say that we are like you are. Unthinking automatons waiting for our daily input of talking points is patently absurd. I don't like Obama. I'm one of the ones who the Obama administration has characterized in the past as Language. The man is about as much of a Democrat as Richard Nixon was. But when he does something right, which is not very often imo, of course I will defend him. I've always wondered what it must feel like to be a blind ideologue. Very cozy and very secure I imagine, and it certainly can't be too mentally taxing. Which for you is obviously an advantage.
There is no such thing as a totally united group of more than two people. It's impossible. Do me a favor--collect 100 people in the room. Tell them that you're representing a new political party and give them a list of five statements that represent the group. See how many of them are completely unified on an issue. Repeat the process 10 times. Then take all of the people who agreed on a particular issue. Poll them on why they support that issue. I'll bet there will be a number of differences for supporting that issue. The "unified" front is an illusion. There is no way to expect a collection of completely unrelated people without a single unifying goal to agree on anything as a unified group. I don't care how "unified" the group's leadership appears to be--would we need primaries if it was that unified?
It was from Emanuel (Obama's former Pit Bull). http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2660195/rahm_emanuel_retarded_remark_more_obama.html
I was referring more to the way Republicans behave in Congress and other elective bodies. And it's not just the leadership. The rank-and-file both both in and out of government are remarkably disciplined imo. Poll them as much as you like. When it comes down to it they'll vote as they are told and for whoever it is that they've got. And certainly the Republican members of the Democratic Party don't help. At least from my point of view. And David, by persisting in calling me an Obamabot after what I've posted about the guy you simply prove my point. Your cozy little brain is impenetrable.
In his characteristic fashion he was simply voicing his boss's thoughts. I have to value his honesty.
Back to the OP... I don't see my rank in there... I checked my wallet and found "Lint", but don't see it listed.
