OK, the Hormuz fiasco, has blocked tanker traffic. I wonder....
US # 1 producer/ then Venezeula, then Canada
Plus Nigeria, Norway etc. all have oil/ gas

So, why de sanction Russian oil/ gas?
Why pray tell, are world prices effected?
There was a glut on the market, surely Canadian, US, Venezeulan oil would be more then enough to satisfy demand.
Just wondering? I think the oil companies are crooked and greedy.

The closing of the straights has not only caused a supply issue for oil but has also stranded oil tankers creating a global shortage of the resources needed to ship it.

The Strait would be open today, if I were POTUS. Why, are "Iranian and Russian tankers" allowed to transit? Seems Iranians are permitting their oil and friends to pass, if I were Trump, I would seize all and confiscate the oil. That would destroy the enemies ONLY source of income to keep Regime alive. They would have two choices, allow the Strait open to all tanker traffic, or die economically. Does no one in Dept. of War have any braincells ????????? If the Chinese do not get their oil, who cares, they are an ally of Russia and North Korea, and IRAN. Meanwhile, Trump is bad mouthing Zelenskyy who offered to help US with drone interceptors, while he has a photo of Him and creep Putin in White House, who is helping Iran regime with killing Americans:rolleyes: Really bonkers......

I'm not saying Trump is an agent of Russia, but sometimes you do gotta ask what a true agent of Russia would do differently in his position...

Esp. when 92% of Americans loathe Putin and the Russians, only 2% (probably Russian emigres) support Kremlin. These people will cast their votes in Novembero_O I would say Reps with commonsense must enlighten the POTUS. What is happening in Hungary in April will happen in November in US, unless.....

I think the POTUS looks at things in "dollars and cents". He is also niave enough to believe the Kremlin propaganda put out by Kirill Demetrieff a true "snake oil salesman" That 12Trillion deal was absurd, the Russian economy is 10 % of that figure, plus how stupid would US business execs be to invest in a dictatorship under Putin? Its like a storeowner offered protection from Mafia. Too bad the President doesn't have ESP, and could tap into what Putin REALLY thinks about Him;) It would not be flattering......

Production is not reserves. Venezuela has big reserves but not production. And their oil is nasty.

Yes, absolutely correct, hopefully US can resolve that now:) Right now, I think we need even the so called "heavy crude". Its better, then buying oil from Putin, so he can cause trouble all over the globe. This planet has some diabolical actors, Vladimir V. Putin and Kim Jong Um head that hit parade of tyrants.
Canada of course has lots of oil too!

I think that he is under Putin's spell. Putin is akin a "cult figure", why else would a whole nation stand behind a leader who is leading them down the abyss. The people drank the koolaid, its scary. Kim Jong Um same scenario in North Korea. Thats the modus operandi of tyrants.
Trump needs advisors like General Kellogg, Ben Hodges not Talsi Gabbard, Steve Witkoff.
