But what has been proven is that not a single democrat has denied writing exactly what the released email showed what they said. So i guess it is the democrats who have sided with the Russians/Putin.

 

I heard somewhere that Hillary would have lost the popular vote had the hackers not interfered. Were they trying to swing the election in Hillary's direction? Interesting.....

Maybe they were hacking states where it didn't make any difference (California, Illinois, New York) instead of concentrating on states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida. Wouldn't that be funny if Hillary actually would have won the electoral votes due to the hacking, but the tactic backfired?

Well, even if some of our election stations were hacked, it might make a case for paper ballots in all precincts with identification of every voter in order to ensure that one person gets one vote. No more people voting twice, no more dead people voting and no chance of Russians (or aliens, if that's your thing) hacking our system and screwing with the numbers.

Poor Hillary, with all this hacking going on, maybe she didn't win the popular vote, after all...

Top US spy agency abstains on CIA assessment of Russian hack of 2016 election

The office overseeing all 17 agencies of the US intelligence community apparently doubts the CIA’s assessment that Russia intervened to help Donald Trump win the presidential election, as Reuters reports anonymous officials saying the allegation won’t be endorsed.

Three unnamed officials from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) told Reuters on Monday that their agency does not dispute the CIA’s findings, yet it would not accept them either.

"ODNI is not arguing that the agency (CIA) is wrong, only that they can't prove intent," one of the officials told the news agency. "Of course they can't, absent agents in on the decision-making in Moscow.”

The CIA has not made its findings public, but the Washington Post reported on a secret assessment by the agency. It concluded that Russian intelligence hacked the servers of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton's chief of staff John Podesta to help Trump win the presidency.

That said, RT was in this case picking up a story from Reuters. The ODNI is being cautious, just as with the FBI. The CIA apparently has evidence for its allegation, but the ODNI says that evidence doesn't reach the level of "proof." The FBI isn't disputing the evidence, either, but as the Reuters article points out, is focused on producing convictions in a court of law, so the level of evidence it requires is different than the CIA.

 

He won't be but, by all means, feel free to hold your breath until it happens.

If history is any lesson, Hitler warmed considerably to Stalin as he was carving up Europe with the help of the Russians. Now we have Trump practically handing this country over to Vladimir Putin.
