I get a healthy dose of both FOX and CNN and, on the credibility scale, FOX seems the clear winner . . . oh, and before you go down that path, it's not because of confirmation-bias. It’s critical thinking that delivers me to that conclusion. You should try it sometime.

 

So the fact that you perceive MSNBC, CNN, Reuters, Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Buzzfeed, Forbes, Axios, and the dozens and dozens of unaffiliated, independent news organizations as all lying to your face but only Fox News is the purveyor of truth doesn't make you think that maybe having only one source of news may be the most telling indicator that you are in a cult bubble where you are constantly told that you should only listen to them exclusively....and this doesn't ring any alarm bells with you?

Like they say, you can't reason someone out of something that they didn't reason themselves into. And your total lack of reason for such an indefensible adherence to a single voice is all I need you to admit to know exactly what drives your delusional beliefs in such an obviously biased and propagandized arm of the Trump cabal. If there is a shred of daylight between Fox and the Trump, I'd be shocked. You can't really be independent and balanced when you are the mouthpiece for a sitting president to the point that you are advising that president on strategy and propaganda without the slightest pretense of separation nor even trying to hide your close relationship. But by all means, believe anything that lets you sleep at night.
It just makes me value your opinion even less....if that is even possible.

 

I never said I only use FOX and CNN for my news. Hardly. I play FOX and CNN against each other to quickly identify the full spectrum of positions . . . a barometer of truth in reporting, if you will. That starting point saves me time. Common reporting between them likely means I need not spend much time looking for additional facts, while disparate reporting points to the need to seek more information on an issue.

I never said FOX is right and everyone else is wrong, but that's how you read it . . . that's the lens through which you view everything.
