You voted for him, you own him. You'd vote for him again I am sure. You don't get to divorce yourselves from your choices and neither does the GOP. You are lockstep with the GOP and they are lockstep with Trump. Nice try though, just not buying you having it both ways. Sorry.
That's fine Joe . . . I can go on not liking the guy, but I'll accept responsiblity for Trump loooong before I would that brain-dead-even-before-he-got-old, Biden.
If you actually accepted responsibility for Trump, you'd be the first on your entire side of the aisle to do so. I've seen nothing from you that resembles taking responsibility for that orange buffoon so far but, as I said, that hardly makes you unique. Example, Trump signs agreement with Afghanistan to completely withdraw our troops by May of 2021 as he campaigned on doing. You blame Biden for abiding by that agreement. What about Trump's culpability in that situation? How is it you fault only Biden for the withdrawal? You sure give lipservice to accepting responsibility but you never actually accept any responsibility when push comes to shove. So, I have to call bullshit on your sense of reality.
You're looking past the fact that Trump would have done so on his conditions, whereas Biden did so on the Taliban's . . . Biden is a serve-myself-before-serving-the-People, power-hungry idiot!
Responsibility for what? Voting for the superior choice between Trump and Biden? Trump is a terrible figurehead, but that’s not what a president is supposed to be. He’s a great decision-maker, which is exactly what a president is supposed to be, and what Joseph P. Biden is most definitely not. What was I supposed to do? Vote for the same idiot you did? It is you who shuns responsibility. You, who voted for a mush-for-brains numbskull, all because he acts like everyone’s favorite uncle and promises what he can’t deliver. You are a full-steam-ahead, idealistic, unrealistic adherent to unsustainable vision. It’s probably too late for you to undo the damage you’ve done, but you don’t have to keep spreading the hate. Unchecked, your vision will destroy this country.
"A great decision-maker"??? Allow me to cite January 6th as one of his best decisions. You've completely lost your mind. Dementia had a terrible price it seems, in your case for sure.
January 6th inconvenienced our lawmakers for one afternoon. Rampant inflation and energy hikes unlike anything we have seen since the 1970's appear to be inconveniencing all Americans for the foreseeable future.
The uprising on 1/06 was not of Trump's making, as hard as you libs try to paint it that way. The troublemakers that stormed the Capitol were Trump fans, to be sure . . . but extreme ones, much like liberals have extreme supporters as well. Shall we label the riots in Minneapolis as being Ilhan Omar's fault?
What EXACTLY did President Trump "decide" on Jan. 6? It is a fact that President Trump said this: "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard." "Peacefully and patriotically" do not an insurrection make which is why the Senate found him NOT GUILTY (of course) of the charges maliciously and fallaciously brought by Nancy Pelosi. So, now that we have that out of the way, President Trump certainly is a great decision-maker. Look at his decisions on the economy. We had the best in the world! Do you remember empty shelves under President Trump? How about energy? We were energy independent! The pipelines were open and all Americans enjoyed low energy prices. How about foreign policy? We were finally at a peaceful resolution with North Korea! The Iranian mullahs were running scared. Russia knew not to invade Ukraine or even make it look like they were going to. How about the fight against COVID? President Trump initiated Operation Warp Speed which miraculously created the vaccines in much, much less time than normal. President Trump enacted the Defense Production Act in order to compel Ford and GM to make ventilators. Far many more Americans have died under Biden's administration. I could go on, but you see my point. Theodore, you know that President Trump made many great decisions. You're simply too much of a partisan, liberal hack to admit it. Oh well, it doesn't matter. Liberals will only be in charge of the House and Senate for several more months. And they'll lose the presidency in 2024, too unless they cheat. I realize that our country is living in doom and gloom right now, but brighter days are ahead.
Don't forget the death toll, the destruction of public property you like to tout so much except in this case apparently, the goal of the rioters to stop the democratic Constitutionally mandated process (a process you swore to abide by when you joined the military), the theft of public property, the death chants, the gallows, the trauma suffered by the security personnel, and the fact that Trump sat back and watched the whole thing on TV while saying absolutely nothing for hours as the attack unfolded. You know what would be really inconvenient for Americans? A lack of Democracy!!
All well and good for you to say, except for when you want to violently burn down the State House in Wisconsin and stop the democratic process there. January 6th was a "mostly peaceful protest" to paraphrase CNN.
