Well, there goes the rest of the elderly vote. Mitt, the gift that just keeps on giving. ROMNEY/RYAN/REJECTED
Paul Ryan is a great choice! Lots of governmental experience, budget committee, etc. this is going to be a dynamic election and a Romney/Ryan ticket will be unbeatable! Thanks, Mitt!
I am looking forward to the Biden Ryan debates. To quote one of the participants, that could be a "big @#$% deal". With Biden in there, that might even come out on live TV. That would be interesting!
Ryan. Sweet. And the RThugs seem to think he's a great choice too. I love it when everyone comes together like this.
Hold your horses, RLM. Little Joe predicted that Hillary Clinton would be Obama's running mate this time around. He also predicted that Scott Walker would be defeated.
My thoughts exactly! Ryan, one of the smartest people in DC vs the dumbest man in DC, Biden? There's a lot to be said about a candidates decision making ability & their selection of a running mate is usually the first decision they have to make. So Obama chose Crazy Joe Biden & Romney chooses Paul Ryan. I think Romney just sealed the election for the good guys.
He does not have anything wrapped up until he figures out how to handle lies and innuendo like Reid and DNC and propagating while the lame street media runs with them. He is going to have problems until the topic of Bain et al goes over to unemployment and debt.
Bain is already "old news" because the public (those who cared, anyway) has realized there was nothing to it other than propaganda spewed by the liars in the Obama campaign machine. It's time to start attacking Obama at his weakest points: Jobs and the economy (not to mention the health care debacle). Romney and Ryan are just the ones to do it. Here's to a Romney/Ryan victory in November!! View attachment 501
To those following the race, Bain is old news be it an asset or a negative. However, the rest of them out there have a vote that counts just as much as those thinking it is old news. And I guarantee you that Bain will be up again before November just in time to catch a few more of those non-followers.
Ryan was at his best when he challenged BO on his campaign pledge to go line by line on the budget to eliminate wasteful spending. Ryan offered to take the scapel & do it himself if BO wasn't going to live up to his promises. He has also points out BO hasn't been able to produce a budget his entire time in office even though he held 100% control of the gov't his first 2 yrs and still has a majority in the Senate. Has any other prez been this much of a failure in this regard?
An experienced Kool Aid provider is obviously going to be popular among Kool Aid addicts. How he will go over with normal people is hard to say. This race is becoming interesting.
(yawns)...May 21st, 2012... http://partisanlines.com/threads/romneys-vp-running-mate.4403/#post-83713 ...and to see if I'm following the instructions correctly look here... ...$5 says I @#$%^& somethin' up, somewhere lol
Nope. Thanks for the assist, Recusant. Both links lead to: ...three months. (rubs nails on shirt a few times, inspects the result) ...Yeah, I would have mentioned him earlier, but ...(yawns)...I couldn't be bothered. Obama is going to win.
You're welcome, sir. You definitely deserve credit for mentioning Ryan as a strong contender, months ago. * * *
lol...Him and a couple of dozen other people lol ...If you look closely at them all though, you'll see Ryan was in my top three "most likely's". He's a great pick ...for someone seeing a need to gain greater support from the party. I see it as unnecessary though, the support was largely there anyway. And it's an overall detriment to the support he'll need from the more Independent-minded voters out there, IMO.
Yep, Ryan - along with every other possible candidate. I would say that his odds were about 999 to 1 of correctly naming the eventual VP.
The leftist media would have destoryed anyone picked to be Romney's running mate as will the sheep that watch them repeat whatever hate comes across their TV as being false wisdom.
Ryan will be the Pitt Bull that the Republicans need to go on the offensive and instead of replying to the bull the dems put out will point out what bull the dems are and have done to our nation.
(Enters Andy's room, tries to wave the thick cloud of smoke present in the room away from face without success....coughs) *cough* ...*cough!* ...I don't know how much of that you have left there, Andy...but *cough* *cough!* *cough!!!* ....whoa....the colors...
Sorry, non-smoker here. You must be projecting. An on site CNN reporter gave a leftist spin degrading Ryan's experience even before the announcement saying that Ryan is only good for showing up for parades for he is rural and knows nothing else. Gee, great to see that someone has to be from the city to know how to do anything. Great objective reporting from CNN.
