Paul Ryan Booed at AARP Gathering

How's that wonder boy working out for you Righties these days? For merely suggesting that his administration would end Obama care, Ryan was treated to a loud round of boos and jeers. Now AARP is hardly a liberal bastion and if this audience thinks a Romney/Ryan Administration has bad ideas well, it's just a good thing that Ryan has already begun to refocus his time and money on his Wisconsin congressional race. Poor Eddie Munster!

It will make Romney's defeat all that much sweeter and of course more painful for people like you. I just heard that Obama is even leading in the polls among NASCAR fans.

 

The left has stooped to manipulating seniors with a camapign of lies designed to prey on their fears. Now that the left knows this voting bloc is vulnerable they have gone after it with all their resources.
Ryan attempts to detail his plan honesty but the liberal-controlled media wont report it, all the people see are the lies perpetuated by the BO campaign (repeated quite deftly here by the laeft wing parrots who pollute this forum). The left can't seem to present an honest criticism of Medicare reform or any other Romney proposal, why is that? Instead of going straight to lies & insults, why can't anyone from the left have a fact-based point-by-point debate of the issues?
It will be interesting to see how BO handles this in the debates.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Wow! Seniors are these poor victims that are being manipulated by the big bad Obama Administration and his henchmen in the media!

Here is an example of Ryan's supposed honesty. He is running around saying that Obama is stealing money from Medicare while his plan does exactly the same thing and in neither case does it take money from Medicare but it does realize savings from not paying private insurers huge amounts of money that are wasteful. The real difference is that Obama's plan uses that savings to cover prescription drugs that Ryan's plan does not. That is just one example of Ryan's lie that seniors have figured out even while being these victims you paint them as.

Ryan is being honest when he tells seniors that he is turning a guaranteed benefit from a program that they paid into all of their lives into a voucher program that gives them $6,000 to go out on the open market and try to buy health care.

Every time the Fox parrots like you begin to lose an argument, it is always the "liberal media's" fault rather than your own policies. Perhaps the reality is that your policies are crap to begin with and screw seniors and all the spinning and lying and blaming the media you do can't change that. Ya think?

 

Keep it up! Keep posting that this is a close race. I shouldn't have to do all the work to make you guys miserable on Nov 6th. You should help too.

The media has a vested interest in not calling this race a runaway for Obama. They lose viewers. The truth is that the week before the election, they'll all claim that Obama simply pulled ahead in the final days of the campaign. Nonsense! He has been a head with women, minorities, young voters, and just about every other demographic you can name by large numbers all along but for some reason, the race is still "close".

I know that ideologues like you are willing to buy into the nonsense because you have no ability to be honest with yourself or us on any level. I figure that is your problem. I love you saying that it is a citizen vs citizen scheme. Paul Ryan thinks he can divide seniors by making the changes to Medicare for those only under 55 years of age. Hum? Hoping that seniors will throw their children and their grandchildren under the bus and out in the cold. Now that is the definition of citizen vs citizen if I ever heard one.

Seniors tend to be a group, for the large part, who are looking for security & are leery of change. When the BO campaign starts claiming Ryan wants to end medicare they get scared. Preying on the concerns of seniors is despicable regardless of who does it. I would have a measure of respect for BO if he would simply debate medicare point-by-point in an honest fashion. The 2 sides can certainly disagree but to form your support based on bad info & outright lies is inexcusable.

 

Do you remember the "Death Panels" claim (by your side)? That qualifies.

 

But "death panels" do exist (if you are talking about Obamacare), they just aren't called that in the legislation. When civilian panels are convened to "determine the responsible allocation" of funds, resources, manpower, etc what do you think they are referring to? Non-medical bureaucrats will determine, based on "viability", when someone gets treated & what treament they receive.

My boss belongs to AARP. He does nothing but bash Obama and faithfully votes R every time.
I read the magazines as they come to us at work and I can tell you this. I sure as hell don't see a bunch of leftist articles.

AARP is basically a "middleman" for insurance and prescriptions when you get down to it. For a fee they'll "help" you.

I recently turned 50 and now receive their junk mail. What a joke.
