Over the Last Two Years Obama has Signed into Law...

...The following pieces of legislation.

_The Wall Street Accountability Act
_The health care overhaul
_$814 Stimulus package to avoid a full blown depression
_Making college loans more affordable.
_The Cash for Clunkers program that helped rejuvenate the auto industry.
_New consumer protections for credit card users.
_Making it easier for women to challenge pay discrimination.
_Increasing federal regulation of tobacco products.
_Cracking down on waste in Pentagon weapons acquisition.
_Making attacks based on sexual orientation a federal hate crime.
_Giving businesses tax incentives to hire unemployed workers.
_Tax credits for first-time homeowners.


Who does it seem like he is look out for? Is it large multinationals and wealthy people or you and I?

It's easy to be snarky and glib and spew talking points but when the facts are presented, you have to face the reality of your own criticisms. If you are wealthy or a large corporation, you might want to vote against Obama. If you are just an average Joe, it just seems like you are voting against your own interests and the interests of other average Joes if you vote against Obama.

 

But I'm not a woman who isnt paid fairly. Or a first time home buyer. I'm out of college. I dont own a small business. My healthcare plan was ok with me. Waste in the Pentagon or waste in the Senate. Does it really make a difference? I havent had a clunker since I was 16. Even then it was a mint '64 Catalina. I dont smoke. And if I did, I'd take responsibilty for doing so. I wouldnt blame Winston-Salem. So he really hasnt done very much for I. (Sorry, I couldnt help myself). I know it should be ME. Perhaps if I had gotten some of that stimulus money I'd feel different. Didnt that money go to wealthy multinationals?
