Lets be quite honest here most media outlets In western Europe initialy sugested it was Muslim jihadists not just fox (Including those with leftist leanings) The way the world is today it is in fact quite a natural reaction. The only places were I would personaly not automaticly think that is Northern Ireland and Basque region of Spain
He has apparently now been linked with some extreem right wing elements within the UK as well

What are you getting upset for? I'm not the one preaching. I don't have a political agenda. I wouldn't have even commented on what happen in Oslo. Be honest, if this guy was an angry liberal , would you have titled the thread as such? And this looks more like some demented hate crime than anything else. The guy was some sort of retarded xenophobe.

I just heard a nit wit who heads watching hate groups for Homeland Security. Commenting on the incidents in Norway...''Its one of my biggest fears that we could have a Timothy McVeigh occurance here in the US. What a jerk. We already had a Timothey McVeigh occurance here. By Timothy McVeigh. Sounds like your kind of guy Moen.

I have no idea just what you are trying to say, but that nit wit who heads watching hate groups for Homeland Security is 100% correct. McVeigh was the example of just what you cannot prevent. And if you think I am talking out my a$$, try to remember where McVeigh put his bomb.

I don't care how you choose to react to this tragedy. I figure that is your business. So do not tell me how I should react. Even if this thread bothers the Right-wing sympathizers in this forum, I’m sure several of those members can rationalize this guys behavior in their own heads since there is so little condemnation of this guy specifically.

BTW The similarities to McVeigh are just eerie. Do you realize that of the 1000 or so hate groups in this country, a staggering majority are Christian. Do you also know that of all the terror attacks in this country since 1980, Right-wing Christian fundamentalists are at the top of the list? This guy was a Right-wing Christian fundamentalist. If you look at his manifesto, his hate of gays, women, minorities, and liberal ideals are interchangeable with just about any Tea Party candidate in this country.

My bet is that when you think about terror attacks, you think about Muslims. They are way down the list of groups that commit terror attacks in this country. So if you think I should just move on after this incident you are asking me to ignore the number one group of terrorists this country has to offer.

    You'd lose that bet.

No he isnt correct. He would be correct if we hadnt had a Timothy McVeigh occurance here in the US. But we did. If he had said ''another'', that would be different. But he didnt. That makes him a nit wit.

Maybe you just have a personal need to intentionally misunderstand his words. They seem pretty clear to me, but as you have said, you are the one that doesn't have an agenda. At least not one you’re consciously aware of anyway.

So you were talking semantics. Fine!

So then if an official said ,"I hope we never have terrorists crash a jet into the Twin Towers.", you guys would say he was correct? Give me a break.

Semantics? No. If one was to describe Quasimodo as a tall and thin man. Is that a matter of being wrong, or semantics? After all the word'' man'' was included.

I think it sort of morbid that our resident PHD takes so much pleasure in being the first to assign blame whenever a tragedy happens. Straight out of the far left whacko hand book I guess- A good tragedy is a terrible thing to waste, right dr moen, phd?

In reality, not much seperates those extreme far right whack jobs from the extreme far left ones.

Actually not the first. That was Fox and other Right-wingers and as it turns out, it wasn't Muslims as they speculated. Just another Right-winger like themselves. Can you dispute that this guy was indeed a Right-wing Christian? Of course you can't so you attack the one person calling your side out. Typical.

I don't really know what the guy is & I don't care- he's a whack job who doesn't deserve to breathe our air.
What I do know is that you refer to me (& several others here) as right wingers & I can assure you that killer & I don't share any common ideas or beliefs. So, if your goal is to make conservatives in the US something akin to that psycho in Norway you are as demented as he is.

Just ask your buddy Glenn Beck. You know, the guy that just compared the dead kids to Hitler Youth. I don't really see a difference between Right-wing European Christian fanatics and Right-wing US Christian fanatics. Cut from the same cloth. This guy wasn't hugging trees or singing Kumbaya.

I have heard this before, but it seem most applicable here - you tend to post polls that agree with your position without regard to those that contradict it.

Well, Beck really isn't my buddy, so now what? And if you can't distinguish between some child killer in Norway & Conservatives in the US, I think that says more about you than anything else.

Everyone speculated it was Muslims. Especially Norwegians. I heard it on HLN. Are they right wingnuts? Damn youre more annoying than I am.

In you opinion. I wonder where that opinion came from since "I don't listen to anyone on the Right because they have proven they only elect idiots." So you apparently have an opinion based solely on hearsay.
