If we have to fight against islamic jihadists, what does he want us to do but surrender? If he wants more social programs, it's fine as long as HE doesn't have to pay for them. Think about it...it is SOOOOOOOOOO easy being a socialist liberal that wants us to hold hands with muslim jihadists and let everybody else pay for one government program after another. When it comes to making a tough deicision, these people cut-n-run (like when those Vietnam war draftees fled to Canada, where they should have STAYED!)

France and other socialist countries needs more people like our village idiot...he should move there and continue to breed another generation of gimmee-gimmee-gimmee, "give peace a chance", I can't make a tough decision, losers.

Is 'Give peace a chance' a bad thing? I feel sorry for anyone who thinks peace is not desirable.

 

It is not desirable to those that get off on beating their chests and relentlessly fixate on how THEY would take care of those evil terrorists. Peace is a word that they equate with a lack of glory and honor and duty. The fight is the game and peace is lame.

Any student of history knows that governments can never be trusted, that is why America's laws were designed to keep the government under control.

Bush is usurping Congress' authority in the name of "Security", but isn't really doing much at all to stop the Islamic militant threat to Western Civilization.

Meanwhile the Democrats use his flagrant power grab in a political play, knowing all along that they would do the same thing for different reasons.

IMO, the Democratic and Republican parties have the same agenda, just different ways of going about it.

Peace? There hasn't been peace in this world since Cain killed Abel. There's only been like 290(approx.) years of peace in the history of the world.

Of course peace is a nice concept, but it's way too surreal for the world we live in. Idealistic people come up with various 'solutions' for world peace, but none of them ever have, or will work.

The U.N? Pah, a bunch of idiots, thieves, and liars. Every place the "Peacekeepers" are sent, they cause problems and set up prostitution camps.

And now this Iran-North Korea thing? It's sad how people can be duped for a second time in less that 3 years by the same dopey president and faulty news reports.

I'd bet that in a few years, we'll be fighting in N. Korea and Iran. Maybe I'll be wrong... think so?

On the subject of Roosevelt and WWII, FDR wasn't exactly a knight in shining armor. Socialistic programs, getting us involved in the war(There's plenty of people and evidence that say we didn't really need to get involved), allowing the Soviets to just take over Eastern Europe, japanese internment camps... the list goes on. IMO He was one of the worst presidents we've ever had.

Not that anything I said has changed anyone's opinion, so why bother? Cause I like to socialize with conservatives and liberals(It can get messy when the tomatoes and rotten eggs fly tho').

History only repeats itself if we don't learn from past events. But, the lessons become less and less relevant as time marches on and they are remembered with a contemporary frame of reference. In other words, the past loses it’s flavor as we try to draw a comparison between it and a present situation even if on the surface the past and present situations seem analogous.

Well...a muslim scholar who has condoned Palestinian suicide bombers today defended his appearance at a conference in London. Palestinian-born Azzam Tamimi, 51, was one the main speakers at IslamExpo, which started the day before the first anniversary of the July 7 suicide attacks on the capital.

In an interview with BBC News 24's Hardtalk programm in November 2004, he said sacrificing himself for Palestine was a "noble cause" and he would do it "if I had the opportunity".

Come on you bleeding hearts and tell me again..."Just another isolated islamic radical??" I don't think so. Could you imgaine the rage if a priest made the same comments?? But when a muslim says it, it just solidifies my argument that islam is a religion of hate and its goal is to take over the world!!

"Joking Muslim cleric mocks victims of London blasts"

A speach by another extremist muslim cleric praising the London bombers and mocking victims of suicide attacks has been broadcast on the internet to coincide with the anniversary of the July 7 attacks. The audience laughs as Omar Brooks, a British Muslim convert who also uses the name Abu Izzadeen, makes fun of non-Muslims as “animals” and “cowards”.

Abu Izzadeen who has previously described the London bombers as “completely praiseworthy” — identifies with the views of Mohammad Sidique Khan, the ringleader of the London attacks. He contrasts the supposed bravery of Khan’s suicide to the “kuffar” (non-Muslims) who are characterised as debauched binge-drinkers who vomit and urinate in the street.

The speech is peppered with jokes that bring laughter from his muslim audience at the Small Heath youth and community centre in Birmingham, where it was filmed last Sunday. At one point he announces dramatically that the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center “changed many people’s lives”.

After a pause, he brings the house down by adding: “Especially those inside.”

So there you have it all you infidels...I guess it is just ANOTHER isolated misguided jihadists, right??
