I think that there are advantages to a divided congress. Republicans can send whatever bills they want to the Democrats in the Senate and the Senate can add or subtract whatever they want and send it back. It forces them both to compromise if they want the bill to pass in some form. Who knows, it might just work out if they all don't behave like children.
I remember the last time we had a divided Congress (2019). The dumbocrats impeached President Trump twice for doing..... absolutely nothing wrong. So, now that we have another divided Congress, I believe it's time for payback. Impeach biden three times... yeah that sounds just about right. It will be extremely easy to find something to impeach that lying, crooked -edited- for. #NOTMYPRESIDENT #FJB #IMPEACHBIDENNOW
I’m just going to speak my mind frankly here….. I am very pleased to hear this. I been around the sun enough times to have seen our nation work the way it is supposed to and these last six years have not been our nation at its best by far. Thanks for saying this, Joe and I hope….. No, I pray that this sentiment is more contagious than Covid.
I'd like to to believe it could be true but we are not talking about yesterday. Today the Right has a small but larger than their majority extremist faction they have to accommodate. The McCarthy wing is the traditional GOP types but radical extremists really have the party faithful behind them. I think the pressure from the base will put a lot of wind in the sails of the extremists. That doesn't bode too well for compromise with the Democrats.

I'll bet you CANNOT NAME THREE THINGS democrats want that calls for an agreeable compromise.
