Well going to Turkey for a week in the sun just like to say that I will miss you guy's over the next week and will be thinking of you as I lay by the beach with a ice cold drink LOL Seriously though it is fun here and I enjoy it. De Orc,did you get plenty of the new Turkish coins? They are denominated in Yeni Turk Lirasi (New Turkish Lira),which replaced the old currency,which ended in so many zeroes that people got confused. Aidan.
I managed to pick up a few examples for my Father but was very suprised by how few there appeared to be in general circulation, the main currency these days in the area I was in seems to be the Euro, followed by the $$ & ££ with the Lira coming a poor 4th!! You will still see some of the old notes in circulation (till the end of the year) now them I use to like as you could play poker and raise a few million at a go LOL De Orc :thumb:
