Did you really OKC? The people in the backround are in a "blur" yet the poster is crystal clear. The person holding the sign seems to have a "blur" to the fingers on his right hand as well. Furthermore, the poster appears to be imbedded in his left hand but no blood. I know you just like to "mess around" here although I can recall you mentioning you liked a good debate here. So much for that myth. I'll also note that I refer to you as OKC although it's CoinOKC. Correct me if I'm wrong but would that indicate that you are a numismitist? I like numismitists. I work in a coin shop after all. Of course not everyone that comes into the shop is a numismitist. Some buy things at yard sales with no clue. Others inherit stuff with no clue. They bring them to us. I've seen a lot of counterfeit coins. Usually Trade Dollars and usually easy to tell because they are off weight. Most of these people are really clueless. They'll hand me a "dollar" and ask what it is. I don't even need to look at it in most cases. I can tell by the weight in my hand that it's fake. THEN I look and see it's a "Trade Dollar". Point is. If I can do that without really looking it would seem that a reasonably intelligent being could look at a picture and determine it's fake. Now, I may be reaching here, but assuming you are a numismitist CoinOKC I would think you'd take more than a passing glance. If not and you ARE a numismitist remind me to NEVER consider dealing with you unless I'm selling fakes. I could make a killing. If you can't see that picture is fake there's no way you'd know a fake coin.
Remember, the dims still control the WH & the Senate and controlled the House for the first 2 years of the BO regime, so....... And, Mitch McConnell has been very supportive of putting BO's Jobs "Act" to an immediate vote. You know that, right? It's Harry Reid who is blocking the vote so let's try to be at least a little bit honest here.
What a bunch of meandering rubbish. If you have an issue with the photograph, please take it up with the photographer, Julia La Roche with the Business Insider. It looks real to me, but it doesn't look real to you. So what? What are you gonna do? Remind me never to buy an unslabbed, "authenticated" coin from you. Thanks for the occasional drive-by posting.
It was funny to hear a couple of the bankers tell the stories about about the protesters getting mad at them for waking 'em up (as the evil bankers were going to work, the protesters were sleeping in!). And what about the environmentalist being arrested for littering?
Don't forget all the businesses in the area being angry that the protesters are fouling their bathrooms. They want the protesters to go home lol
That's an interesting site. Thanks. I agree with Clembo that the picture looks shopped. It seems to me that the site interested in mocking the protestors, which is fine with me. Mock away. If the picture is dummied up I don't think that they did it. They don't seem to be trying to capitalize on it in that way Julia La Roche has a pretty a pretty lackluster bio, but she does have a sister who makes a non-toxic herbal flea remedy for pets, which fascinates me for some reason. Henry Blodget, the founder and CEO of the site is "a Yale graduate who previously worked on Wall Street before being barred from the securities industry after a conviction for securities fraud." Oh well. It's never too late to mend. Anyway, I appreciate your sourcing this for me. There's always something out there that I haven't seen before. http://www.businessinsider.com/author/julia-la-roche http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Insider
What in the world are you talking about? Tea Partiers can protest all day long for all I care. So can the Wall Street Partiers! More power to all of 'em!
Do y'all remember how the Tea Party started? It started with a bunch of old white (causation) people yelling and angrily shouting down people at town hall meetings. Fear was the catalyst that drove their anger and inspired them to act. I don't see the current protesters as having that angry component, not that there aren't some angry people, but it just seems that more than anger, they are fed up with the greed and that has brought the crowds out into the streets more than anything. Remember: 1. First the ignore you. √ 2. Then they make fun of you. √ 3. Then they fight you. 4. Then you win. Two steps left.
What about the protest's Grand Marshall, Roseanne Barr, calling for the beheading of bankers? Sounds kind of violent & angry to me.
I noticed you've copied tomc's siganture line several times now.....are you looking to him for validation now?
Back with your racist comments again. I wonder how you are going to manage if Cain become president. Tht would sure throw a monkey wrench into your racist ideas.
I know you find the term "white" racist but I've yet to figure out why. Maybe someone other than you could explain it to me.
She is a professional comedian. You should learn to take her comments with a grain of salt like the rest of us.
