The second part needed to be emphasized in response to your own emphasis, since the two are parts of a whole and emphasizing one over the other is misleading. They were associated with the Occupy movement, true... but the movement itself doesn't endorse using the methods the suspects had used.

 

You have perception issues. It used to be called "cranky-old-man" syndrome. "Dad-blasted kids, and their dad-blasted music! Cut your hair and get a job!"

By the way, do you remember how that kid in your pic came to have all that blood on him? I seem to recall run-ins with cops having that result.

 

The movement may not advocate blowing up bridges as these Occupiers were wont to do, but the movement as a whole doesn't condemn violence as a means to an end.

 

I advocate peace. I know you do not. I would like to see change take place through peaceful means. If you want to call that "cranky", well, so be it. Everyone here knows you're a lunatic anyway.

 

You think those are bad? Ever see a city celebrate their teams victory? Ever see a "Black Friday"? Ever see designer shoes go on sale?

 

Welcome to the begining of a potential revolution. You do understand that people will only take so much abuse from their leaders right? Too much abuse and violence is inevitable.

 

You're expecting people to be peaceful while they are being abused.

Revolution, shmevolution. There is certainly something revolting in the Occupy camps, but it's not the idealism, it's the participants themselves. Very revolting. But, please explain what "abuse from their leaders" is happening. Abuse from Obama? The Obama Administration? The Senate? What leaders?

 

Those idiots aren't being abused. Not when they have iPads, iPods, cars, homes, bank accounts, college educations, etc.

This movement seemed to have started with good intentions but since then all I can say is
Send them all to the middle east to be UN observers then maybe then they realize how good they have it.

 

Two of which may very well be "police brutality."

 

The abuses are stated on some of their sites, but I'm assuming you have no interest in viewing them. Instead, I will say abuses take many forms and can come from varied sources including, but not limited to, police brutality, government oppression, class discrimination, harassment, intimidation, repression of rights, corruption in politics, abuses of power, theft (legal and illegal), etc.
