I think you are right about the democraps defeating any Republican...they capitalized on the poor economy they created and found a personality willing to stand up in front of the country and say what he was told to say. The endless promises of entitlements & free rides appealled to alot of people apparently...luckily a lot of people are starting to come out of the trance & seeing him for what he really is.

''Democraps''. How clever. Did you make that up or borrow it from Vess1? How you said they won the election is odd. Why didnt the GOP capitalize on the poor economy the Democrats crated to get elected?

And Vess1, your opinion isnt any more valuable than Danr's. Its just an opinion. I'm sure the Dali Lama or General Pretreaus isnt geting advice from you either. Lighten up!

I think the Repubs gave/give the voters a lot more credit than the dems.

Haha. Ok. The GOP always take the high road. Just ask Harding, Nixon, Foley or Craig. I think the Republicans did thier fair share of mucking up the economy.

I beg to differ. I make an attempt most every day to try to keep up on what's going on. If I didn't, I wouldn't post here because I wouldn't know what I was talking about. I'm hearing the direct Obama quotes every day. The sound bites are everywhere. To defend the B.S. that's going on is just plain naieve.

    You guys...
lets get on the same team. Lets not attack each other, thats what they want. Political arguments and groups of seperatists....F them , right folks?

Now, lets all gather, if we can, and a NON BIASED group of citizens. Lets disect the fact from the fiction. Read into the promises and the campaign rhetoric vs the current reality.

We, as a nation, are being treated as cattle. We are fed what they want us to eat, we are being corraled into seperate groups, we are becoming against each other.

I think, we are all together but a tad misguided.

IF , and thats a HUGE if, we can be totally non partisan and non political, and look to what WE want for our selves and our family, we might see thru the slight of hand here.

Majicians are excellent at fooling us, so are politicians.

Wake up folks, abandon the party line and abandon the talking points. Lets meet here in a week and discuss our INDEPENDANT observations. Is that possible here?

We have but mabe a dozen active members. Lets not point fingers, make name calling our method, lets actually research somewthing and discuss is on a level above the dumbass sites like youtube.

Every one of you has it in you to be honest and unabashed with your answers. Kick it ino gear folks, and FORGET the party you belong to. You belong to yourse;lf and your family. Do and speak whats is right for you.

Amen AJ. Amen. Time to abandon the party line and take blinders off. When Obama, or any of them talk, ask yourself some questions.

Were your questions answered in detail? Did they point out the section of the bill that proves you are wrong? Thereby proving that it is just scare tactics? What do they talk about most? The angry mobs at town hall meetings or health care bill details in general? And so on.

Anybody with an ounce of expectation should be sorely disappointed here lately.

Honestly Jack, even though this is such a small group, I'm afraid I'd have to say no. It's not possible and a damn shame too. :(

We're a small reflection on what is happening in the country no matter what side you're on.

I do more reading here than commenting anymore and frankly I'm getting tired of reading.

Thats pretty arrogant of you. Just because you think your opinion is correct, doesnt make it so.

Well, call it whatever you want. Next, maybe someone would like to step in and tell us that 2+2=5 now? I mean, why not? It would be the equivalent to most arguments I'm hearing. If we want to abandon simple logic and reason, I can leave. And then everyone can be high on life in their misinformation, imagined reality, stuper.

No reason to get all dramatic. You are no different than Danr. He's for it simply to be for it. And you are against it just to be against it.

I honestly believe OBAMA is up to some fishy things, to say the least
He says everything so condescendingly, and so "ha ha" like he is doing some kind of mind control
I GUARANTEE he wants to know, who doesn't like him, and he will do anything to stop them (which is against the law) the president cannot legally gather up a list of people that do not support him.
I am very weary of who I send my emails to, and who I get them from, and I advise everybody to watch out

Okay, I haven't read too many posts here, but I will say this, VESS isn't just against the Obama thing to be against it, we, the people who do not support Obama, have reasons to, while the people who support Obama have reasons as well, although I think their reasons are questionable.
I know for a FACT, that people who do not support Obama, aren't just against him to be against him.

And how do you know that for a FACT?

What would be the reasoning for people not to support our OBAMA?
People who do support him, have a reason, or certain belief, or just like him because he is black, and it is something new. (Not a joke, many people do believe this)
Us, the non supporters, all have different reasons. Me personally, I am very sick, in and out of hospitals, taking many medications, and $10,000 or more on medical every year.
With OBAMA taking over, we are very scared, because he likes to take what we get, and give it to others, hence the lazy people or people who shouldn't be in this country in the first place. I want the best possible insurance, and I have a pretty darn good plan, once OBAMA's health care plan passes, lots of that can just go "poof", and I will really be in trouble. My grandparents are getting all the medical procedures they need done, while medicare will still cover it. (Although we wouldn't have to worry so much, if we had the all so powerful MEDICAID)
I am also a person who stands by the constitution, the HR45 gun law, is unconstitutional, and so is everything else he says about guns. Guns are for protecting yourself and family, and home, once you illegalize them for citizens, the people who commit crimes, can just kill and steal even more, because the citizens wont be able to defend themselves. I am not afraid to shoot anybody, you come into my house, threaten me, or my family, I will pull out a glock, and shoot you until you are dead. I don't think anybody should be stupid enough to say they want guns outlawed, but there are people like that!

These are some of the reasons why I don't support OBAMA, and I will say for a fact that the other people who don't support him have reasons like this, or other reasons.

Isnt medicaid government health care? Why arent you against that? and if you stand by the constitution; why dont you satnd for whats unconstitional? And you are right. Many people like Obama because he is black. And many dont for the same reason.

Yes it is, that was me being sarcastic when I said we don't have medicaid.
All the illegals do, and more illegals do have that than veterans who deserve it!
I am against medicaid, 100%, and think you need to work for what you need.
The only exception to that, is soldiers who have lost an arm and a leg protecting us, that need health care and medical treatment.
I stand for the constitution and its contents, like I stated in the other post.

They work for it! I don't think they should get free handouts, until they are retired (MEDICARE)
I think as long as they are working, they can pay for it, just like everybody else.

People like injured war veterans, and retired veterans, deserve it, now. They deserve everything they need that is necessarily, because without them, there would be no America. They protect us from harm, and they are wonderful people. I support our troops :)
