3,175 billion to Israel...there's enough to pay for heat and what's left over can go for Pell grants.

And you only criticize because criticizing is the easiest thing to do. I've never seen you present a better idea than the ones you are criticizing. You like to pretend that you are this open minded nonpartisan observer of events who would never spin anything yet anyone who disagrees with you is some kind of a partisan hack blinded by the rhetoric of the Left. You have such and entrenched delusion of yourself that you come off as comical more than anything else. When you lie to yourself, you have a fool for a partner.

Not at all. I present myself as a conservative Republican, but certainly open-minded. I don't mean to spin anything, I just present the facts which are open to interpretation by anyone. Anyone who disagrees with me aren't necessarily partisan hacks (though some may be), but they tend to be left-leaning, socialist-minded, liberal individuals who I think have the wrong idea (as they certainly think that I have the wrong idea).

I don't know what makes you say that. Just like you, I present my ideas as I see them. If you see that as "delusional", well look in the mirror some time.

Does Dr moen really have views or ideas of his own? Typically all he will do is copy & paste other's words then attempt to spin them based on the talking points impressed upon him by the left wing media.

Well I believe that I asked what cuts he should make and I am non partisan I have posted here as to what cuts I think he should make starting with overseas aid and your defence budget Now if you realy do want to be seriouse then that would make a big impact on your budget
A high speed rail and new roads would not only create jobs but they could also boost the American economy as long as it is stipulated the contracters buy American materials
Use the troops you bring home to police your southern border that would help cut down on Illigal imigrants as well as provide work for your armed forces so keeping them off the unemp;oyment lines

There is the extreme Left and the extreme Right. I know the extreme Left and I know the extreme Right. The Right wing in this country by any objective measure has taken the fast train for the fringe in the last 20 years and they all see themselves as being in the center. That is the delusion you share with them. The left has moved far closer to the center at teh same time.

See, this is just another case of your left wing ultra-bias shining through. Just as many, if not more, would make the argument that the left is speeding into left wing whacko fringe land while the right is moving more towards the center.

I would vehemently disagree with you on this point. The right has moved more toward the center especially with the constitutionalists and the Tea Party movement and away from so much of the "religious right".

No, no, no. The left in this county has moved from slightly left-of-center to whacko far-left socialist, ultra-liberal, bordering-on-communism. If you can't see this, then YOU are the one who is delusional. Remember that mirror I asked you to look in? Turn the light on in the room first and you'll see. Bright as day.

As Moen has pointed out many times, the government doesn't create jobs! If that's true, how can a government-sponsored high speed rail project create jobs? Now, as I've stated a government can create an environment that's conducive for private industry to create jobs, but so far Obama has been lax in these endeavors. Additionally, it simply amazes me that Obama was heralded as the new Messiah, but he's going to let these poor people freeze next winter. If he's such a "man of the people" and such a genius, you'd think he would cut unnecessary programs first before he'd let people freeze or help them with their education.

Well, there's a political reason for that here in the U.S., De Orc. The Democrats want to bring in as many illegal immigrants as possible because, once they reach their path to citizenship, they overwhelmingly vote Democrat. It's a game the Democrats are playing and they're using immigrants as pawns. Shameful, but true.

Alas, in the U.S. we have something called the Posse Comitatus Act which prohibits the military from acting in the capacity of local law enforcement. So that plan won't work.

You are bordering on too delusional to even talk to. The Tea Party has pushed out every single moderate conservative they could. Do you really deny that? If you push out the moderates........that's right you get less close to the middle. You can't even see the current trends in your own party and you want to judge mine? Gimme a break!
You have no perspective to judge where the Left is from your perch out on the fringe Right wing. Your vision is simply warped.

Oh, I wouldn't say that, Moen. Sixty-six percent of the goals of the Tea Party is to reduce the size of government, create jobs, lower taxes and cut the budget. Seems fairly moderate to me...

Do this for me. Look up extreme Right wing positions and extreme Left wing positions. Just the extreme positions. I don't think you'll find, "reduce the size of government, create jobs, lower taxes and cut the budget" as the definition of either.

Right. It's a moderate point of view.

I think that you really have a very poor understanding of what your own party is all about these days. Either that or you have a very pronounced sense of denial.

I know, "reducing the size of government, creating jobs, lowering taxes and cutting the budget" is just soooooo extremely radical...! You'd think that Van Jones himself would have come up with these ideas, they're just so radical. I'm going to paint a peace sign on the side of my VW bus 'cuz I'm so groovy... and radical.

The counter culture of the 1960's has no influence in today's political landscape. However, Neocons, ReTHUGs, wingnuts, birthers, tr 011s and teabaggers, are front and center of the Republican Party. Even though the 60's ended over 40 years ago, it's nice to see how far in the past you live. I guess it take a while for news to reach you out there in the middle of nowhere eh?

If you really believe that, you're way behind the times. How about Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground Organization? Ayers has ties to Obama (these were even questioned by Hillary Clinton) and used property damage to intimidate and outrage. He's what I would consider a radical from 60's who has influence in today's society. The 1960's radical group Students for a Democratic Society reformed and now have over 150 chapters nationwide. If you think '60's radicalism is dead, you're on an acid trip, baby.
