Obama disparages Special Olympics!

I don't think the President of the United States of America needs to be going on late night shows and yucking it up with Jay Leno in the first place, really. Regardless of how "History Making' CNN thinks it is. lol

The campaign is over. The country already hired you to do the job of President and be the world face of the entire nation. There is no need to be going on Jay Leno or hosting SNL or doing a turn on the microphone on American Idol or doing a cameo spot on Desperate Housewives or whatever.

If you have something to say, have a Presidential Address, do a fireside chat, or have your press secretary release a statement. Or call a press conference or do a town hall meeting if you really have a desire to answer questions from people.

Like Regan's Russia remark or practically the entire 8 years of Bush, we don't need a comedian or a clown or someone to hang out with. Stick to the job, stay professional and save the jokes for the wife and kids.

 

Don't worry Jack, I know, I know. I just like pointing out the absurdity of the Obama-worship that goes on here and I enjoy the reactions of these people when the tables are turned. Too funny.

 

I think he was trying to brush off that mantra of him being a bit dull. It flopped. Just like if Al Gore tried to crack a joke.

 

Yeah, we just got through 8 years of embarrassment from a guy who thought he was much funnier than he actually was. Time for 'change' in that area. Just say no, Mr President.

 

The whole thing with Bush, even Jenna and Barbara thought he was a fool, I remember during the 2004 RNC they joked "Like yeah, right, they would elect you!"

 

I'll tell you what, when you don't have money in your pockets it tends to change your perspective on a lot of things.

 

Yeah...most people's first inclination is to work harder but with Obama's "leadership" they will just queue up for a handout. Afterall, the country owes you a living, doesn't it?

This is a very true statement. It has been for many years.
When times get tough people tend to work harder. Why? Because whether or not you agree with them politically it's the way most were raised. Find a second job, hold a yard sale, sell your jewelry to keep it going. I see it every day.
These people are not "queuing up for handouts". They want to work but in order to do so they have to be able to find jobs. So what do you propose we do with the "losers" that can't find jobs David? Let them rot? Let them and their children starve?

Your total disdain for those that you somehow feel are "beneath you" coupled with your fervent hatred of President Obama makes me want to puke dude.

You believe too much of what you're hearing on the radio David. I hear the same crap repeated EVERY DAY by people that don't check into facts just take what they hear as gospel I'm afraid. Call it a gut feeling if you want but I have YET for any of these people to be able to tell me where or how the lines are forming nor how to solve it.
All I hear is "they are taking mine because it's their right" blah, blah and so on and so on.

Seriously. I have the distinct displeasure of listening to Rush Limbaugh damn near every day AFTER I get to hear Mancow Mueller who is one of the biggest idiots this planet has ever seen!

Do I have to repeat my philosophy here? Reform the tax structure & keep government out of the free market and things will turn. Reward achievement, innovation and hard work, things will turn.
