As for the Palestinians I think they should open a casino on the west bank next to the beach, that would be a major money maker (especially if they could cater to those Arabic sheiks and princes). 2. The 8 Month War is also called the War of Independence, though in actuality the war lasted closer to 10 months. There was no "8 Day war" it was the 6 day war, which was in 1967.

Exploding nukes anywhere on the surface of the planet is generally considered to be a bad thing. The fallout from the number of nukes it would take to destroy one average-sized country would most certainly affect the rest of humanity for thousands of years. On the news last night, Pakistain was asking for billions of dollars in aid for the horrible earthquake that occurred there a while back. Now I feel for those people.
However, why should the west give Pakistain billions in aid when Pakistain is spending billions on building their nuclear weapons program and buying long range ballistic missles from China and North Korea. In an indirect way we have funded and will fund the development and delivery system of nuke bombs that will end up in the western cities and cities in India one way or another.
For after all, Pakistain has already stated that their nukes are weapons for Islam and various fractions in Pakistain have stated that if they gain power they will sell what they have to the Saudis or any other muslim nation or jihad group.
I guess that is why we deal with Gen. Pervez Musharraf who we know is double dealing us and who was meeting with the Saudi's in regards to selling them nukes on missles that could reach Rome. We may not have him on a leash but he is getting rich off of us not to sell those nuke tipped missles.
