I'm going to be camping at the place on the flood plain with the steel
kybo seats. It's going to be very wet and bitter cold.

I'm thinking about buying one of those furry seats at the $1-Store to
bring with me and set atop the steel one, just for...you know...a soft
and safe warm landing.

I'd install it for the weekend, but guys will be using the steel
seated kybo, too....and y'all can't aim fer shit.

There was a little after the rain passed, but I see with some interest on
NEXRAD an eastward-moving North-South-running line-o'-thunderstorms
heading this way (a mere 20-30 pounds of water per square yard overhead
going by VIL), so I presume the good winds are behind them.

It really helps keep the wind down with all the leaves off the trees, eh?

(Not to mention all the missing treetops from last Fall, wot I still pick
up some now and then.)

You're in for it. Temps dropped 18 degrees in 3 hrs, wind chill of 0
by morning.. It blew a friggen SEMI over up here (or rather, over in
Indiana - Ripley County, I think)...as well as an entire LINE of
utility poles.

I have never in my life heard of high winds blowing a semi over, right
on the damn road, too.......minor injuries to the driver.

high wind can be funneled plus tractor-trailer trailer hit side-on by
hill-gap-funneled high wind equals section of I-64 closed for a bit.
