Did they mention the Red Sea is actually a mistranslation? It should be the
Sea of Reeds. And it(they) weren't anywhere near the size of the Red Sea.

i just had a quick skim through and its interesting. i'll read it
properly later on when the gremlins have gone to bed. being a geek, i
laughed when i saw the enterprize was involved and wonderd if the
    captain was called kirk.

well. to be honest. good queen bess gave her blessing to pirates,
especially ones who went after spa^H^Houth american robbed gold. none
of them where english, so i guess as long as you're not of the
race/nation/whatever who is doing the piracy all is fair in any book.

I just realized, you must have inspired me:

My work-station desk has a main table, and then had two sets of half-depth
shelves above it, with a gap in the middle for a monitor in the top shelf,
the monitor sitting on the middle shelf, but that made the monitor too
high, really, and I couldn't get the middle shelf out without taking the
whole flippin' desk apart (lock-tabs and wood pegs-- I'll tell you how I
know very shortly), so by God I used a circular saw to cut a big gap in
the middle of the middle shelf, and then cracked the remaining end-pieces
down, and used a wrecking-bar to blow 'em outa there, and pliers to pull
out the remnants of the wood pegs involved.

My desk has quite a spacious look and feel to it now, and the monitor sits
nicely low on the back of the main table, and eventually I may cover up
the holes where the middle-shelf lock-tabs and wood pegs used to be . . . .

    Maybe some duct-tape.

a filing cabinet at the end of it with me sat at the desk/table
looking at it at an angle. soon i shall be sat at the end of the
desk/table either looking at the monitor on the fling cabinet or a
makeshift riser for the monitor on the desk. we shall see. maybe there
    will be pics to follow!!!!1!
