Poor Newt. Wife says "no effin' way, we're going on a cruise". Newt complies. Can't blame him I guess. 3rd marriage, probably not a fourth one in the cards for the ugly SOB. Then again she is pretty frightening herself. Ann Coulter commented. He said, " My big throat even more choked up than normal when I heard the Newt master wasn't allowed to participate in the possible election of my fellow man".
My take on Newt's campaign is that he wants to be president but is not suited to doing all the meaningless bs that one has to do to become president.
I think that as smart is Newt is, he somehow missed the fact that the Republican Party has run so far to the fringe Right that he looks like a friggin' Socialist in their eyes.
Apparently quite a large number of his senior campaign team have quit Sonny Perdue (Gingrich’s national campaign co-chairman) has gone over to the camp of Governor Tim Pawlenty, even his campaign manager Rob Johnson and Spokesman Rick Tyler have departed the fold!! Is this the end of his run, well he says not but it is quite a blow I would think.
That appeared to be about all the work he wanted to put into actually trying to become president. He apparently thought he could show up when he wanted to, shoot a scene or two and that was all it would take.
