military service is no "better" than any other service

Moen, How can you forget that the Military is allowing you to have your Freedom? Answer... because you are brain dead and hate this country.

 

Can you not imagine a day when military forces are so unimportant and unnecessary that we think so little about funding national war machines that we have to come up with creative ways to raise money for something as useless as a bomb? That is all the sentiment on the bumper is saying. I don't think sharing this sentiment or imaging a Utopian existence makes me either brain-dead or someone that hates this country...Quite the opposite in fact.

BTW I'll let you edit your name-calling comment out before pointing it out to the moderators and making them give you another warning. That kind of thing is no longer tolerated in this forum.

Danr, That is interesting that you mentioned Salvador Dali. I own two rare signed woodcuts, The Black Cherob and the Oyster Game. The Oyster Game is a beautiful womam who has ants climbing out of her public hair and the Black Cherob is the devil who looks like a snake. Even us rednecks have an appreciation of art. But I don't know if you would call that fine art.

 

Wouldn't it be nice if we could quit wasting all that money on public education and spend it where it belongs, the national defense. Public education is crap anyway, we know bombers work

 

My guess would be no children, no prospects, and staying that way.

If you really had a clue, you'd know that there is a heck of a lot more to it than reproducing. You favor the military over public education and that says more than I could ever say. I hope that the doctors and the nurses and the nursing home personnel and all the other people that take care of you in your golden years don't bother with that worthless public education. You get you wish and will have to live with your short-sightedness.

Why do you think there are so many private schools and all of them charging an arm and a leg to attend. Having to turn students away and all of them prospering beyond their fondest beliefs?
Why do you think there are so many parents willing to take the time and trouble to 'at-home-school' their children. Who test out at higher levels than the students attending public schools?
Why is it that there is a need to have such programs as 'no child left behind' if the public schoold were doing what they are being paid for?

Might it be that public schools are a thing of the past, like the unions of this country and if a parent wants the best for their child, they are forced to select other means of education...?
