If you've been following the news you've probably heard about the stores
that won't let their employees say Merry Christmas to the customers.
Personally, I think the whole situation is ridiculous.

Glad I don't have to mess with that. I hope each of you had a safe and Happy Halloween and eat lots of turkey on Thanksgiving after saying your prayers. Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Happy New Year, remember don't drink and drive. Buy your sweetheart a nice gift for Valentines Day and always use adult supervision when shooting off fireworks on the 4th of July.

    God Bless America

And dont forget the leek's & Dafodils on St Davids Day  We in the UK do have a number of idiotic local councils as some are trying to ban the singing of Christmas Carols in schools for fear of upsetting some of our other religiouse groups  Perhaps in the name of peace & harmony we should shut our churches n chapels n synagogs as well  your thought greatly appreciated.

Take away the rights of public Christianity and praise islam on TV and in school. Does anyone else see a connection? The youth are being brainwashed.

as much brain washing as you would get in one after noon watching tv ads. during the christmas season.

so if you love some one this season you have to buy them this to prove it.
just making us into more of consumer drones.
holidays should be more about family and friends and not about presents and gifts.

The only group that is actually offended by public displays of religion are the most zeolous fanatics of all, athiests. The secularists are very keen on this issue.

not true at all. atheist dont care if you pray in school, sing xmass carrols,or have god we trust on money.just dont tell them that they have to belive in it or participate in it.

Check out who are filing lawsuits against the Pledge of Allegiance, school prayers, and Christmas displays in public areas. I think you will find that they are avowed athiests. From what I am hearing, Muslims and Jews don't much care.

is there some check box as to religious affiliation on these forms?

the people that make these complaints are those with to much time on their hands, and have else better to do than nitpick the system.

the 10 comandments being outside of a courthouse wont bother me if i believe in god or not. its a very basic list of civil rules that almost any religion follows. and the smart people know that athiest or otherwise

    dont cheat
    dont steal
    dont kill
    show respect to your elders

The biggest anti-God case recently was the one that involved the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools. The lawsuit was initiated by a physician living in Elk Grove, a suburb or Sacramento. He took his case to the Supreme Court with the help of the ACLU. He is an athiest and on TV all the time.It hasn't worked out so well for him. His wife divorced him and I believe that his daughter now goes to a Catholic high school.

Personally I feel that the world would be better with no religion but just a belief in God.
But lets face it, the human race needs structure and religion provides that with the Ten Commandments being the most known example.

agreed. we should look at what we have in common instead of fighting over the the little details. all of these religions were made to inspire man and give hope.

When I was in the service one of my last duties (before retiring) was making dog-tags. I've seen some doosies that's for sure. I had a couple of nurse's come in one Monday and wanted to change their religion to Wiccan. Well there is more to doing that in the service than just changing your mind after getting liquored up over the weekend. They had to go over to the personnel office and complete all sorts of paperwork then have it all OK'd by their squadron commander. When they discovered the complexities of the process I obliged them by just hooking each up with a set each for souvenir purposes, and they left just as Catholic as they would have either way. I think there are less than 100 active witches in the USAF, LOL :D

My point is, all these people demanding the removal of Cross's and Christmas Trees ought to be made to renounced their Christian beliefs thru the proper government channels, heck add it to their income tax forms. I mean make it difficult to rock the boat. We are in the middle of a "World Wide Religious War" and actions by all these whining individuals who say the sight of a cross infringes on their right to personal freedoms should be treated as an insurgent, period. Part of winning this war is to keep thinking we can win it and when you remove the Nativity Scene from infront of my church it doesn't help.
