How can 13 Million get an 'unexpected' tax bill in 2010 when it is the same tax situation as 2009? No. Don't answer that. I am already aware that there are more than 13 million stupid people in this country. After all, we keep electing the same groups of people over and over again even though nothing changes from one year to the next. In light of that, a 400-800 dollar Stupidity Tax does not seem too excessive.
BO exploited these people, pure & simple (probably the same folks the libs believe are too stupid to understand their mortgage, credit card agreement, etc). The poor, the uneducated? They simply discovered a few more dollars in their paycheck, billed as the benevolence of BO. Now, when tax time comes & they are expecting that same refund check they have rec'd year after year, it won't be there. We actually had a case here where an employer (and big BO supporter) was counseling his employees to have the bare minimum withheld from their paychecks- so the Friday check was bigger- and he was giving BO the credit!
Didnt it apply to everyone who received a paycheck and not just the poor and uneducated? And wouldnt it only add up to about one hundred and forty five dollars owed? Or less with multiple deductions?
The poorer would notice it more, wouldn't you think? If you are in a position where every penny mattered a few extra dollars on Friday could be a big deal...then to have it billed as a gift from BO? A little exploitive, isn't it?

Then why are you so worried about a tax hike if every penny doesnt matter to you? And why are you so concerned by the poor and the uneducated? Youve stated many times in here that they chose their own path in life and should be of no concern of those that worked and struggle to be just the opposite. Just wondering.
