Guess at what age a women could have agreed to be married under the shah in Iran and guess what age a female could be given up to marriage under the islamic government of Iran today. Any takers.
I'm not real sure what the Iranian government allows, but I know that Muhammad was in his 50's when he contracted with the father of a 6 year old girl to have as a wife. The marriage wasn't consummated until the girl was 9 years of age. Now this is what the orthodox Sunni Muslims believe was the ages, so I'm guessing that it must be about 6 years for being given in marriage, and 9 years to make it official and have the marriage consummated.
Under the Shah who was making Iran more of a western nation the marrying age was 18 for women. Under the Islamic state of Iran today a girl of nine years of age could be married off by her father to any man with the Iman's permission or to the Iman. ok so ive heard about the polygamy but is there are statistic on sex outside of marrage? and also is there even such a thing as devorce over there? also this seems to be have been big in almost all the older civiliztions throughout europe, asia ,and afica. everywhere else seemed to have grown out of it and i hope they follow suit.
The Shia have it where you can marry a female and do not have to live with her. The marriage contract can last anywhere from one night to a lifetime so we are talking about religious prostitution. Of course the Iman charges a fee for this permission. The Saudi Royal Family is infamous for marrying young virgins from poor muslim nations for a night and then having the marriage nullified the next morning. We are talking about 100's of temporary marriages per Royal family member per year, not all of course but you get the picture. Then there is the more then one wife issue and should a muslim have more wifes then mohammed. These would be wifes who live with the husband for life. There is divorce in Islamic nations. It usually ends up with a honour killing by the husband, little to no questions asked or plain stoning in some cases.

In Maryland, it is illegal to sell condoms from vending machines with one exception: prophylactics may be dispensed from a vending machine only "in places where alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises." (Is this a great country or what? Not as great as Guam, however). There are men in Guam whose full-time job is to travel the countryside and deflower young virgins, who pay them for the privilege of having sex for the first time. Reason: under Guam law, it is expressly forbidden for virgins to marry. (Let's just think for a minute; is there any job anywhere else in the world that even comes close to this?)

Investigators first learned of the farm after the man died at Enumclaw Community Hospital July 2. The county Medical Examiner's Office ruled that the death was accidental and the result of having sex with a horse. A surveillance camera picked up the license plate of the car that dropped the man off at the hospital, which led detectives to the farm and other people involved, said sheriff's Sgt. John Urquhart. Deputies don't believe a crime occurred because bestiality is not illegal in Washington state and the horse was uninjured, said Urquhart. But because investigators found chickens, goats and sheep on the property, they are looking into whether animal cruelty — which is a crime — was committed by having sex with these smaller, weaker animals, he said. The farm was talked about in Internet chat rooms as a destination for people looking to have sex with livestock, he said. "A significant number of people, we believe, have likely visited this farm," said Urquhart. The Humane Society of the United States intends to use the case during the next state legislative session as an example of why sex with animals should be outlawed in Washington, said Bob Reder, a Humane Society regional director in Seattle. "This and a few other cases that we have will allow us a platform to talk about sex abuse of animals," Reder said. This kind of thing is absolutely disgusting and perverted. It is unthinkable that this could be the U.S we are talking about.
