Anything humans can't fully explain yet...God did it. Of course they used to say that about many things that we can easily explain today. If anything, jumping immediately to the God explanation has been proven false over and over.

Anyone wanting to lay the demise of Detroit at the feet of Republicans is an utter fool. Detroit's troubles can be blamed squarely on the democrats and their liberal ideals. Democrats are just simple fools and that goes for Sharpton and Ed Shultz. Like most liberals, they're useless bags of dung.

Fox news is Rino garbage. If you rely on Fox news you are part of the problem. Fox news yanks John McCain and Lindsey Grahm members if you know what I mean.

I'll just say it. Todays Republicans are the most vile and discusting creatures on the planet. Republicans make me sick......a gang of neutered dead ball sacks.....anybody still registered as a Republican needs a 230 grain lead injection. Republicans are the enemy. If John Boener is your idea of a leader I want you dead. Period. Hanging from a tree.

I can only assume you're "firing for effect" (or drunk). Personally, I don't feel that way about anyone (Democrat or Republican). There are a few people like Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, Jesse Jackson, Jr...etc. that belong in jail...but not dead.

I lean Republican because the Democratic party has been overtaken by "Traitors to the Constitution"...there's just no pleasant way to put it. I don't believe the Republican party intends the destruction of the US Constitution.

I'm listening and willing to reconsider my position if that's where the data takes me.

    Please provide specifics.

Republicans use the Constitution mantra when it suits them. When it doesn't they ignore it. They alway seem to claim that they are the only ones following the Constitution, they are the only real Christians, the only real Americans, the only real patriots, on and on.... I think if Republicans ever climbed down off of their self Important pedestal, and took a look around, they may realize that this country moves forward more progressively all the time. They are the single biggest road block to progress this country has. Progress benefits everyone, intransigence only benefits those that already have everything.

Like when Rick Perry says Texas can secede if it wants to, or attack Social Security, Medicare and environmental regulations as unconstitutional encroachments on state's rights, under the tenth Amendment? Or Mike Lee using the same argument about federal child labor laws?

Like wanting to eliminate "birthright citizenship"?

Or forgetting that tea parties are for little girls?

There's a HUGE difference between "Progress" and "Progressive".

Progressive means "progressing towards a goal". Democrats use the word "Progressive" to insinuate they are progressing towards the goal of Americanism, but their goal is a Socialist Utopia that is unattainable without enslaving the masses.

The problem is that Democrats look at a result and, instead incorporating what they learn into their policies, they create policies to adjust the outcome (after the fact) to produce results they desire.

    That's not "Progress", that's "Anarchy".

    OMG! Those are hilarious.
I guess someone thinks the Constitutions guarantees us the right not to introduce laws to desecrate the flag.
And here I thought that the Constitution stated how Congress could pass financial bills and how to enact amendments. Apparently someone thinks if it does not conform to the liberal mantra, it must violates the Constitution.

In my city there is no law against desecrating the flag, however there is a $5 fine for beating someone up who is desecrating a flag. I think they that passed in the early 70's.

Well, here's my take on this...
When you get to the end, when you step into the voting booth, you're only going to have 2 choices... the R or the D, right? By not voting or by voting for a candidate with zero chance of winning all you are doing is making it easier for the other side to win. You have to ask yourself: Is it better to vote for an R with liberal leanings or a D with a socialist agenda?
We all would like to see viable alternatives in national elections & everyone seems to feel better when they can proclaim they aren't registered with a certain party but it's not the reality in which we live. I tend to fall on the side of pragmatism & follow the advice of William Buckley when he suggested, in any election, we vote for the most conservative candidate who has a chance of winning. In the "us against them" world we live in the most important thing we can focus on is winning elections so we can be in a position to govern & get things done.

If you keep on voting for the lesser of two evils you'll get what you deserve.

Then the only choice is to not vote. Or vote for the lesser of three evils, four evils, etc.
