Liberal Icon- John Edwards!!

Did you see where Edwards has finally admitted to having an affair and fathering a child out of wedlock while his wife was dying of cancer?
I could care less what Edwards does or has done in his personal life, that's for him, his wife, his mistress and his God to work through- I just am amazed that this hypocrite has drug this out for 2+ years and now decides to issue a press release. The right gets accused of exploiting family values, look at this guy. He's the same guy who campaigned on the premise that he was a champion for the poor while being one of the wealthiest lawyers in the country & living in largest private residence in the US? Yep, gotta hate those rich, hypocritcal Republicans...err, I mean Democrats.

 

Are you saying that there is a democrat out there who did not do practice what he preached and kept his promises? I mean there's Obama, there's Gore, there's Clinton, there's Clinton, there's Holder, there's geitner, etc.

He did what most any politician would do...he denied it until a book outing him was getting ready to hit the shelves.

 

I'm not defending the guy folks but really how many scumbag politicians fess up immediately? This statement here from the AP gives me a pretty good idea why he did.

Fact is there are a lot of John Edwards' out there from all sides of the spectrum.
Like so many others I'd like to see his career take a nose dive but reality is that he'll probably remain a force in politics to some extent.

I was hearing this morning on a local radio station that after the Iowa caucus, he called Obama's campaign to throw his support to him if he got the VP or Atty General consideration. Probably would have happened too if Little John;s exploits hadn;t come to light.

 

If they fess up, they will be treated like Tiger Woods. This country is going down the tubes. JFK cheats on his wife and is adored for it. Tiger does and it might end his career. The majority of us have cheated on someone, what is the big deal.

 

The man's a poor excuse for a human being. He should form his own corporation appoint himself CEO and join the republican party. He and Newt could head up the immoral majority.

 

You get people like him on both sides of the political divide, it is not special to any one area of politics now is it?

 

Boy I sure hope Tiger doesn't lose his career. Golfing is such an important corporate event.
Everybody cheats, smokes pot and and drinks. CorporationISTs steal, and the government kills its own people with planes. Hard to believe that country HAS already gone down the tubes. Any of the original ten left that we don't p**s on?

If I had his money I would have hot babes in droves, perhaps even some porn stars BUT, I would be honest about it. And, I would not do it in my dying wifes face. Get with the program folks, I am a conservative and would do it in a minute. It is not a party line thing. He is just the latest to get caught.

Newt didn't bag his wife while she lay dying? That's news to me.

 

Cheating on his wife does not change that he is greatest golfer in the history of the world. Ironically, if he were a rockstar, his career would be ruined for not cheating on his wife, not doing drugs, and not drinking, yet our society loves those rock stars, especially women.

I would however love to hear your sermon on the ten commandments, that should be entertaining.

I have already heard them though. BTW, wathing Tiger Woods play golf is one of the simple pleasures of my life. If I am robbed of that because somebody cares who a mega sports star decides to bone, I am going to be highly upset. Mabye Tiger should call up Kobe and see what he did to get out his pickle.

 

Simple pleasures like POT? Then hitting the little green ball a couple hundred yards then chasing it down in a buggy? Important stuff.
