Let's talk hypocrisy- BO, Immelt, GE, China

Jeff Immelt is the CEO of GE...a company that paid ZERO taxes last year. Immelt is a buddy of BO's as well as being his jobs competiveness czar. Immelt is partnering with China to develop and build high tech aircraft engines. This new venture will take place in & benefit China. This new technology will be in direct competiton with US-based & built Boeing. BO halted Boeing's efforts to build a new production facility in SC because he disagrees with the state's labor laws.
Hmmmm......

 

Obama, Immelt and their culture of corruption sickens me.

 

If this persons company did not pay any tax to the IRS last year and that tax was due/owed then they should face prosecution regardless of who they know If you or I did this we most certainly would face the full wrath of the Inland Revenue including possible seziures of our assets (well in the UK any how not too sure about the US)

 

Taxes aside, what about BO appointing Immelt to a jobs commission post while he's in negotiations with China to develop technology that specifcallt competes with US jobs?

 

Personaly I believe that is wrong and shoudnt happen, he should choose one job or the other but thats just my view of it
You on the other hand are the one who keeps on about Goverments musnt interfere with how business works I havn't seen any comments from you about the companies that have relocated most of there work overseas (including to China and taking there technology with them) So what is the diffrence here?
You do of course know that he is a Republican dont you? yep another working for President Obama Heck he even has Martin Feldstein working in the same group with Immelt (you might want to look him up)
Has he by any chance broken any laws by trading with China?

Obama is such a Republican. I'll bet that 30 years ago the Republicans would have been thrilled with an Obama presidency. Now not so much. They've charged off into the fever swamp and haven't looked back. Maybe if Obama got on board with the humans hanging with dinosaurs thing and the idea that the economy will be just fine as long as no one spends any money he'd gain some traction with them. All I can say is give him another term and he'll probably be there.

 

Try checking out his party affliation on Wiki before you get on your high horse LOL I am not claiming anything simply stating the facts (which of course you dont like because they are true and I notice no mention of Feldstine another Republican LOL)

 

For David I actualy said It was wrong that he was doing the 2 jobs as well as wrong if he was evading tax or did you miss that bit? I also asked if his trading with China was Illigal and you havnt answerd that

 

I didn't say it was illegal now did I? I said it was hypocritical Immelt would serve on BO's jobs commission while developing technology for another country that would compete will American jobs. I said it was hypocritical that BO would appoint this member of his inner circle to such a position in the first place. Now I'm saying it shows what a moron BO is to allow the guy to continue serving on the jobs commission. I also want to point out the hypocrisy of BO to rant about companies not paying their fair share of taxes while his buddy & appointee seems to be the worst offender.

No one sees the hypocrisy in BO having Immelt sitting in his rooting section during his "jobs" speech?
