Communist-sympathizing, Castro-loving, anti-capitalist, America-despising Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez has died.

Will I lose any sleep over this? Not a wink. But, loony left wing nut Sean Penn who called Chavez his friend probably will. Of course, failed president, weirdo-Democrat Jimmy Carter said he is mourning him, too.

All I ask is that they bury him deep so the stench is tolerable.

Let's see. I said this and I challenge you to dispute any of it:

"Communist-sympathizing (definitely), Castro-loving (oh yeah), anti-capitalist (without a doubt), America-despising (uh huh) Venezuelan dictator (there's no question) Hugo Chavez has died.

Will I lose any sleep over this? Not a wink. (I mean that sincerely) But, loony left wing nut Sean Penn (not a lie) who called Chavez his friend (he did) probably will. Of course, failed president (that's a fact), weirdo-Democrat Jimmy Carter (the truth) said he is mourning him, too (he is).

All I ask is that they bury him deep so the stench is tolerable (the rancid odor of socialism permeated into the US)."

I realize that this freak was probably one of your heroes and you're sad that there's one less communist sympathizer spreading lies in the Americas but that's the way the hammer and sickle bounce, Comrade.
Hey, if it's any consolation, you've still got Kim Jong Un, the Castros and Nancy Pelosi.

I disliked Ted Kennedy about as much as I disliked Hugo Chavez. But, at least Chavez didn't leave a girl to drown in car submerged underwater so that's one thing in his favor. Leave it to you to like anti-Americans such as Chavez or worthless pieces of garbage like Ted Kennedy.

Chavez was just a socialist nut:

    Hugo Chavez Decries Capitalism....On Mars

    March 22, 2011
CARACAS—Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who routinely blames capitalism for many of this world's troubles, pointed elsewhere in the galaxy for his latest critique, saying Tuesday that the economic system may have destroyed life on Mars.
"I have always said, have heard, that it would not be strange that there had been civilization on Mars," the firebrand socialist said on Venezuela's state television. After pausing a moment, he added, "But perhaps capitalism arrived there, imperialism arrived, and finished that planet."
Chavez had been discussing water conservation and had meandered onto the subject of Mars after remarking that he believed that some traces of water had been discovered on the Red Planet.
Following his speculation that capitalism may have destroyed a previous Martian civilization, he warned that water supplies on this planet are dwindling.
On Earth, "where there were great forests hundreds of years ago or less, there are now deserts, where there were once rivers, now are deserts," he said.
Guy Webster, a spokesman with the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, said "water has been discovered on Mars." Mr. Webster wouldn't comment on Mr. Chavez's statement.
Mr. Webster said scientists had observed possible evidence of water on the Red Planet as early as the 1970s, but it was only in 2008 with NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander was direct chemical analysis performed and the discovery confirmed.

The liberal Lefties here in the US admire this guy. Really?

    Assault on Judicial Independence
In 2004, Chávez and his followers in the National Assembly carried out a political takeover of Venezuela’s Supreme Court, adding 12 seats to what had been a 20-seat tribunal, and filling them with government supporters. The packed Supreme Court ceased to function as a check on presidential power. Its justices have openly rejected the principle of separation of powers and pledged their commitment to advancing Chávez’s political agenda. This commitment has been reflected in the court’s rulings, which repeatedly validated the government’s disregard for human rights.

Lower-court judges have faced intense pressure not to issue rulings that could upset the government. In 2009, Chávez publicly called for the imprisonment of a judge for 30 years after she granted conditional liberty to a prominent government critic who had spent almost three years in prison awaiting trial. The judge, María Lourdes Afiuni, was arrested and spent more than a year in prison in pretrial detention, in deplorable conditions. She remains under house arrest.

    Assault on Press Freedoms
Under Chávez, the government dramatically expanded its ability to control the content of the country’s broadcast and news media. It passed laws extending and toughening penalties for speech that “offends” government officials, prohibiting the broadcast of messages that “foment anxiety in the public,” and allowing for the arbitrary suspension of TV channels, radio stations, and websites.

The Chávez government sought to justify its media policies as necessary to “democratize” the country’s airwaves. Yet instead of promoting pluralism, the government abused its regulatory authority to intimidate and censor its critics. It expanded the number of government-run TV channels from one to six, while taking aggressive steps to reduce the availability of media outlets that engage in critical programming.

In response to negative coverage, Chávez repeatedly threatened to remove private stations from the airwaves by blocking renewal of their broadcast licenses. In 2007, in an act of blatant political discrimination, his government prevented the country’s oldest private television channel, RCTV, from renewing its license and seized its broadcasting antennas. Three years later, it drove RCTV off cable TV as well by forcing the country’s cable providers to stop transmitting its programs.

The removal of RCTV left only one major channel, Globovisión, that continued to be critical of the president. The Chávez government repeatedly pursued administrative sanctions against Globovisión, which have kept the station in perpetual risk of suspension or closure. It also pressed criminal charges against the station’s president, a principal owner, and a guest commentator after they made public statements criticizing the government.

The sanctioning and censorship of the private media under Chávez have had a powerful impact on broadcasters and journalists. While sharp criticism of the government is still common in the print media, on Globovisión, and in some other outlets, the fear of government reprisals has made self-censorship a serious problem.

    Rejection of Human Rights Scrutiny
In addition to neutralizing the judiciary as a guarantor of rights, the Chávez government repudiated the Inter-American human rights system, failing to carry out binding rulings of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and preventing the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights from conducting in-country monitoring of human rights problems. In September 2012, Venezuela announced its withdrawal from the American Convention on Human Rights, a move that leaves Venezuelans without recourse to what has been for years – in countries throughout the region – themost important external mechanism for seeking redress for abuses when national courts fail to provide it.

The Chávez government also sought to block international organizations from monitoring the country’s human rights practices. In 2008, the president had representatives of Human Rights Watch forcibly detained and summarily expelled from the country after they released a report documenting his government’s violation of human rights norms. Following the expulsion, his then-foreign minister and now chosen successor, Nicolás Maduro, announced that, “Any foreigner who comes to criticize our country will be immediately expelled.”

Under Chávez, the government also sought to discredit human rights defenders by accusing them of receiving support from the US government to undermine Venezuelan democracy. While local nongovernmental organizations have received funding from US and European sources – a common practice in Latin America where private funding is scarce – there is no credible evidence that the independence and integrity of the defenders’ work has been compromised by international support. Nonetheless, in 2010, the Supreme Court ruled that individuals or organizations receiving foreign funding could be prosecuted for “treason.” The National Assembly passed legislation prohibiting organizations that “defend political rights” or “monitor the performance of public bodies” from receiving international funding. It also imposed stiff fines on organizations that “invite” to Venezuela foreigners who express opinions that “offend” government institutions.

    Embracing Abusive Governments
Chávez also rejected international efforts to promote human rights in other countries. In recent years, Venezuela consistently voted against UN General Assembly resolutions condemning abusive practices in North Korea, Burma, Iran, and Syria. Moreover, Chávez was a vocal supporter of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad, Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, and Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, bestowing upon each of these leaders the “Order of the Liberator,” Venezuela’s highest official honor.
Under Chávez, Venezuela’s closest ally was Cuba, the only country in Latin America that systematically represses virtually all forms of political dissent. Chávez identified Fidel Castro – who headed Cuba’s repressive government until his health deteriorated in 2006 – as his model and mentor.

US infected Hugo Chavez with cancer: Stephen Lendman

    Thursday Mar 07, 2013

An American writer says he believes the United States murdered Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez by infecting him with cancer causing elements just as Israelis had poisoned Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to death.

The comment comes as on Tuesday, Venezuelan Vice President Nicolas Maduro announced that President Hugo Chavez passed away after a two-year battle with cancer.

Hours later, Maduro announced the expulsion of two U.S. embassy officials while implicitly accusing Washington of having infected Chavez with the cancer virus.

In a tacit reference to the U.S., Maduro said, “We have no doubt” that Chavez’s cancer was induced by “the historical enemies of our homeland.”

    http://www.presstv.com/detail/2013/03/07/292397/us-likely-infected-chavez-with-cancer/

Chavez himself believed that America wanted him killed. He did so for good reason. Castro warned him...These people have all kinds of technology nobody knows anything about. They want to kill you. They want to get rid of you... I think Obama wanted him murdered and I think he did, they probably infected him with cancer causing elements. The same way Israel murdered Yaser Arafat. They poisoned him. They did with polonium. There are all kinds of ways to get rid of people.”

Scientific Assassinations Are Part of the CIA’s Record

    Wayne MADSEN | 12.03.2013

The Guardian newspaper’s self-proclaimed Venezuela expert Rory Carroll has glibly categorized serious charges that Venezuela’s late President Hugo Chavez Frias was assassinated by a United States-produced bio-weapon as being in the same league with «conspiracy theorists who wonder about aliens at Roswell and NASA faking the moon landings». A number of Venezuelan and international officials believe a hostile party covertly introduced an aggressive form of cancer into the 58-year old president.

Carroll also wrote that Chavez, himself, believed that the cancers that befell former leftist leaders of Latin America, including Argentine President Nestor Kirchner, diagnosed with colon cancer and Brazilian President Ignacio Lula da Silva, treated for throat cancer, were part of a CIA plot directed against left-wing leaders. Curiously, Carroll suggests that Uruguay’s former leftist president, Tabare Vazquez, also recovered from cancer. In fact, Vazquez never had cancer. Furthermore, he is a renowned oncologist trained in France. It was Paraguay’s former president, Fernando Lugo who was ousted in a 2012 CIA-backed right-wing coup, who was diagnosed with lymphoma, cancer of the immune system. Carroll simply proclaims that because all three ex-leaders recovered from cancer, there was nothing to the U.S. cancer assassination weapon story.

Carroll conveniently omitted the cancers that have struck other Latin American leaders, including Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, afflicted with thyroid cancer, and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, struck with lymphoma. After beginning peace talks with the left-wing Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), Colombia’s conservative president Juan Manuel Santos was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Venezuela’s acting President Nicolas Maduro charged that Chavez was struck in a «scientific attack» by Venezuela’s «historical enemies».The U.S. State Department claimed the notion was absurd». Russian Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov speculated that is was far from coincidental that six leftist leaders all contracted cancer at around the same time. Cuba’s Fidel Castro, himself the target of several CIA biological assassination attempts, told Chavez: «Chávez take care. These people [the Americans] have developed technology. You are very careless. Take care what you eat, what they give you to eat... a little needle and they inject you with I don’t know what».
