Southern Europe is now part of the third world. Was this statement based upon the lack of armpits being shaved by the women natives?

North Africa is now part of the third world?

East Africa could be a zoo but I have a feeling that you were visiting a zoo there to see the elephants and stuff, Kenya perhaps?

Caribbean's problem is the constant overexplosion of the population. But no one is starving and it has been a while since I looked at any data at all but I always thought that the Caribbean was considered second world or first world depending on the island.

When you get to the horn of Africa or the middle east then lets talk.
But remember to grow some facial hair, do not wear a cross, and be prepared to be able to quote the Koran if you are ever in a jam.

Girls and women terrorized by widespread rape in Darfur

Nobody is safe from rape – young girls and older women are equal targets
DARFUR/NEW YORK, 20 October 2004 - UNICEF has received further reports that armed militias are continuing to rape girls and women in Darfur as a tactic to terrorize and humiliate individuals and communities.

Assaults are indiscriminate – young girls and old women are equal targets – and there are no reports of the attackers being punished, says UNICEF Child Protection Officer Pamela Shifman, who has just returned from the region. “Over and over again, girl after girl, woman after woman, said the same thing: The biggest problem they are facing is security and they have tremendous fear about their safety and a terrible fear about sexual violence.”

Many of those she spoke to had been assaulted by militia groups who use rape and sexual violence as a form of punishment and torture. This has a devastating effect on individuals and instils fear and shame within communities. Families and children are sometimes forced to watch

Other reports indicate that the overall security situation has worsened and that the April cease-fire has broken down. Some 70,000 people have died in Darfur from hunger and disease and a further 1.5 million have fled their homes since conflict began in February last year"

Small story in the press not shown on the nightly news. 70,000 dead for not praying to allah. Countless raped and the numbers are climbing as we speak

    African Arab Women Sang
    While Watching Sudan Rapes
    By Jeevan Vasagar in Nairobi
    and Ewen MacAskill
    The Guardian - UK
    7-20-4

While African women in Darfur were being raped by the Janjaweed militiamen, Arab women stood nearby and sang for joy, according to an Amnesty International report published yesterday. The songs of the Hakama, or the "Janjaweed women" as the refugees call them, encouraged the atrocities committed by the militiamen.

The women singers stirred up racial hatred against black civilians during attacks on villages in Darfur and celebrated the humiliation of their enemies, the human rights group said.

"[They] appear to be the communicators during the attacks. They are reportedly not actively involved in attacks on people, but participate in acts of looting."

Amnesty International collected several testimonies mentioning the presence of Hakama while women were raped by the Janjaweed. The report said:"Hakama appear to have directly harassed the women [who were] assaulted, and verbally attacked them."

During an attack on the village of Disa in June last year, Arab women accompanied the attackers and sang songs praising the government and scorning the black villagers.

According to an African chief quoted in the report, the singers said: "The blood of the blacks runs like water, we take their goods and we chase them from our area and our cattle will be in their land. The power of [Sudanese president Omer Hassan] al-Bashir belongs to the Arabs and we will kill you until the end, you blacks, we have killed your God."

The chief said that the Arab women also racially insulted women from the village: "You are gorillas, you are black, and you are badly dressed."

The Janjaweed have abducted women for use as sex slaves, in some cases breaking their limbs to prevent them escaping, as well as carrying out rapes in their home villages, the report said.

The militiamen "are happy when they rape. They sing when they rape and they tell that we are just slaves and that they can do with us how they wish", a 37-year-old victim, identified as A, is quoted as saying in the report, which was based onmore than 100 testimonies from women in the refugee camps in neighbouring Chad.

Pollyanna Truscott, Amnesty International's Darfur crisis coordinator, said the rape was part of a systematic dehumanisation of women. "It is done to inflict fear, to force them to leave their communities. It also humiliates the men in their communities."

Don't do that Speedy...talk about the number of hours invested into this thread, my fingers all have worn tips. We have great stuff going on here in the general discussion. 249 posts in such a short time...let's take it to 500. Come on Meon...I still am waiting for more "logic" and your (ahem, ahem) rational.

Still, I believe ALL people of the world have some basic knowledge of good versus bad. Somewhere I have to believe that mulsims know that killing others (even non-mulsims) is over all "bad"...or do they?

That is why I believe Group #3 mulsims are the largest group out of the four.

Just a suggestion Speedy, and that is check with your "senior" members of the moderators. They are aware of the thread and have visited it on occasion. Now if you are looking for some kind of award for closing this post, go ahead and see what happens the next time. Mind you this is only a suggestion.

Then many of the members need to stop calling names and so on...I agree...there are some good points on this thread but it isn't an Open Season on members...

I'm sure a few if not all would back me up on my post I made.

That is not how we work around here...

I still see name calling and rude postings on this page of this thread...can't you all take about a topic without calling names??...

Hey Speedy, did you pick up on the “subtle” condescending remark? Followed by the equally “subtle” threat. What an arrogant old a** he his. You can close it anytime.

Trying to cut your losses? Sure...I am losing the debate so close the thread. This is how many liberals fight. They call us "old, mean-spirited, evil, white, etc." because they can't reinforce their arguement.

This topic is VERY real. If mulsims were celebrating Katrina, they are also praising allah for Rita. Watch what comes out from these groups over the next week. You will be seeing "Praise allah" all over the place,

Again, you believe most mulsims fall into group #4 which stand behind the "religion of peace". I believe most mulsims (based on poll after poll I read) support the islamic terrorists (group #3). Though they may have not fabricated any suicide bombs in their basement, they support, understand, harbor and defend these terrorists. Some dance in the streets and shoot off AK-47's, while others donate money to their cause at their local mosque.. This is population that Group #1 and #2 target for new terrorist recruits...courtesy of radical clerics positioned in every country from United States, to England to Pakistan. You know the mosques I am talking about...teenage boys weaving back and forth being taught death to Israel and the infidel West.

As Meon stated, Group #4 is afraid of Group #1 and #2. They are afraid to speak up and do the right thing...BUT...think about this. IF they have the numbers you say, then they need to get together and do the right thing with ACTION instead of meaningless lip service. Otherwise, I call that a "cop-out" or a poor excuse, especially when thousand's of people are getting killed by groups #1 and #2. Face reality, #4 mulsims must remove this cancer from their "religion of peace" or we will do it for them. After all, as you stated before...most mulsims, in YOUR opinion, practice the "religion of peace" and fall into Group #4, so the numbers are there...or are they?

Here are my four mulsim groups for people that recently joined us or are lost in the pages of this thread.

1.) Terrorist mulsims that want to eliminate and kill all non-mulsims
2.) Moderate terrorist mulsims that want to kill and elminate primarily Jews
3.) Regular mulsims that have not committed any physical acts of violence against non-mulsims, but harbor, support, and defend the actions of #1 and #2.
4.) Peaceful and law abiding mulsims that want nothing to do with #1, #2 and #3.

Just tired of hearing your same old blah, blah, blah. How many times can you guys make the same lame arguments and expect to keep anyone interested. Out of the goodness of my heart (that's that thing in your chest people associate with compassion, but not in your cases), I have suffered through your entire name calling and righteous indignation (oh, sorry, words getting big again) potty mouths and bad dog attitude.

If you’ll notice, I'm the only one left here that even bothers to try and shed a bit of light into your dark, muddle-headed perspective. But, you are right, I have failed miserably. Maybe it was because I had little invested in the process in the first place. You can't find compassion where there is none. You can't bring understanding where there in unwillingness to learn. And you can't fight hate with logic because hate's not logical. It's emotional.

My perspective is that you have all focused so much on "winning" that you probably don't even believe half of what you wrote. You were just interested in not being wrong. I imagine, other than the militia meetings, you find yourself on the defense quite a bit.

I'm generally not a condescending person. But I find that communications with the likes of you people lower me to that level. It's not a place I prefer to go and as everything has already been said again and again, continuing this thread is just pointless. I could just take a hint from Old Dan and repeatedly call you all names until the moderator ended this thread, but I prefer to bow out gracefully and let you have your "virtually victory". Maybe if you feel better about yourselves, the rest of us may benefit in the long run.

    Good-Bye

Yes, Speedy and I do know each other and there are those among us that are mighty proud of what he has learned over the course of the last several years.
Having said that, I will also say that Speedy knows me well enough to know I do not make "subtle" remarks. When I said Moen had a mouth full of S--- (arrogant old a** he his[sp].), i didn't just say his breath smelled bad.

if moen is no longer participating, we need more people on this side of the fence to keep the 'debate' going... so
