I went to the dentist this afternoon and my lower right mouth still feels
    like a block of wood.

As for the "no smoking for 24 hours" business, well, yeah, right, one just
has to learn to smoke left-sided.

Pettifoggery in the face of human suffering! or mild discomfort, anyway.

I did rediscover the wonders of my blender, viz. in converting warm
mushroom soup (with a scoop of soy protein added) to a luvverly and
nutritious puree allowed to cool unto coldness and eagerly
not-sucked-if-at-all-possible in along the good side of the mouth, and
also an equally luvverly mixture of half ice, half grape juice and a
    tablespoon of Everclear, turned into a Flying Purple Eat-Me Slush . . . .

("Cold and smooth" is the operative principle of the first 24 hours
    afterward.)

It's a good thing I never heard of 'em, then, isn't it?

If you believe the bushy eyebrow guy almost anything can be juiced.

I recently discovered that my blender has a seized chopper-upper
bearing. It's old enough that spare parts aren't readily available
(safety improvements have put material in places that preclude the
substitution of newer parts). I don't want to part with it. It has
lots of speeds and excellent power. And a few thousand smoothies and
sauces under its belt. Damb. I think I'm going to try boiling the
    bearing in some glycerine.
