John McCain ---What The Hell is WRONG With This Fool?

This man should be tried for treason! Has anyone told him that he lost the election two elections ago? Foreign policy is the president's job not some rogue Senator that has never met a war he didn't like. Turns out that the U.S. had brokered a deal with Russian involvement to end the bloodshed at peace talks but that is off primarily thanks to McCain. This man should never have been let out of his tiger cage.

McCain unsure whether he met with rebel kidnapper during Syria trip


To be fair* to John McCain, his staff says the he's not sure if the reports that he met with a rebel kidnapper during his Syria trip are accurate:

Senator John McCain’s office is pushing back against reports that while visiting Syria this week he posed in a photo with rebels who kidnapped 11 Lebanese Shi’ite pilgrims.​

The photo, released by McCain’s office, shows McCain with a group of rebels. Among them are two men identified in the Lebanese press as Mohamed Nour and Abu Ibrahim, two of the kidnappers of the group from Lebanon.​

A McCain spokesman said that no one who met with McCain identified themselves by either of those names.​

And if those reports are accurate, they say it was totally an accident:

[McCain spokesman Brian] Rogers said that if the man in the photo turns out to actually be Mohamed Nour, that is “regrettable.”​

McCain's office suggests that maybe Assad is trying to frame him, but on the other hand says that maybe the story is correct, in which case McCain never intended for it to happen.
I guess the bottom line here is that John McCain just isn't sure with whom he met. But he is sure of one thing: President Obama needs to listen to whoever they were and get America militarily involved in Syria by by enforcing a no-fly zone and supplying weapons:

The rebels told McCain, a prominent critic of what he calls the Obama administration’s inaction on Syria, they wanted the United States to being supplying weapons and enforcing a no-fly zone in the country.​

“Their message was, to be frank with you: they do not understand,” he said. “They do not understand why we won’t help them.”​

Well that makes total sense. McCain meets with some strangers, isn't able to vouch for their identity, but says the U.S. military should take on the responsibility of grounding the Syrian air force while we ship weapons to a bunch of people he clearly doesn't know.

What could possibly go wrong?

McCain was the first and only U.S. senator to meet in Syria with opposition forces. When Secretary of State John Kerry met with Russian President Vladimir Putin May 7, they agreed to host a Syrian peace conference, a follow-up of the Geneva commiqué that attempted to resolve the 26-month old conflict, claiming near 80,000 lives since March 11, 2011. McCain’s meeting with Idris undermines painstaking peace talks between the U.S. and Russia..

I have questions as to the legality of his visit there.

In all seriousness, an investigation is in order to determine if he committed an illegal act. If so, he should be prosecuted. If he is found guilty at some point in a future court, he can ask for a Presidential pardon, as that is usually how these people escape justice.

For the record, I'm not referring to a particular political party, as it isn't relevant.

 

I think Syria should build a fence to keep illegals out. Lousy 'Mericans!

I think Holder should conduct an investigation. This is not meant in jest, and is not meant for anything other than the investigation of a possible illegal act.

Maybe he should follow the BO admin playbook & plead the 5th?

 

At this point in his career it seems to me the wisest thing for McCain to do would be to stay home, DRINK a fifth and keep his mouth shut.

 

McCain.... John McCain.... This isn't the same batty loose cannon that the Republicans thought would make a good President, is it? Are we talking about THAT John McCain? You mean he hasn't been put in a home yet? And who was that opportunistic, mercenary, publicity queen who shared the ticket? Whatever happened to her?

 

Speaking of one of John McCain's biggest mistakes, Caribou Barbie did make a public appearance recently, at a high school graduation...probably the only venue she can get these days. Oh, how the high and mighty have fallen.


Sarah Palin In Tiny Northwest Town For Graduation Address

Sarah Palin returns to the Northwest Saturday – though for a much more modest venue than the former vice presidential candidate has had in the past. Palin will give the commencement speech to the Class of 2013 in a high school gym in tiny Republic, Wash.

It came about through social media. On a lark, the senior class of Republic High School, home of the Tigers, decided to see if they could land the conservative star. The class president – a huge Sarah Palin fan – led a lobbying effort via Facebook, Twitter, and the old fashioned way – a letter to Palin's parents.

That, plus a class photo with the banner “We want you! Governor Palin!”, did the trick. Sarah Palin will be in Republic to dispense her advice to the members of the 2013 graduating class – all 27 of them.

Palin is foregoing her usual $75,000 or more speaking fee for the event. But there might be political points to score. This week on her own Facebook page, Palin chided what she called an elitist Seattle Weekly article on the event and talked up the virtues of small town America.

Republic, WA. The Interior. A little farther east and it would be in northern Idaho, which is probably exactly where it belongs. I think it's even smaller than Wasilia. Illegal drug use in Republic has probably increased measurably in the wake of her visit. That's the effect she seems to have on small towns.

 

I like that she decided to go there. I like that she decided to forego her fee. I like her naked. But then she talks and ruins everything.
