I'm not going to read this thread. Free speech is good. The jerk can say anything - even lie or make things up in the name of humor. The people who run the NETWORK said he was being fired for losing money NOT FOR WHAT HE SAID! I believe they used it as an excuse to drop the show. Public opinion is on the side of free speech and the network caved. He should have his show as long as it makes the investors money. The problem is, the show is loosing lots of money. FORTUNATELY, it is back on the air because hundreds of his forgotten employees will be out of work if it is closed. He needs to cut expenses, improve ratings, or it will eventually be closed. This whole thing is due to the changes in America. Crap like this show, PBS, etc. has become subsidized in order to compete in the real world.
