More often than not the teachings of this 2000 year old “fairy tale” book speak to our current problems.

Wisdom from above is at first pure, then peaceable, then gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits and without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace…..

    Just sayin’……

Of course the Bible holds wisdoms - but in the rejection of Christianity, many are rejecting the good parts as well.

    I find it disappointing.

It is very disappointing. This nation was founded on Christian principles and has worked pretty well for 245 years. Many would say that is because I am white which I find laughable knowing more than my share of successful minority professionals……. And what’s more laughable is that all these little luxuries that all these negative lefties post about are here due to this nations success. It just flabbergasts me to see post after post of how horrible we are while they post from their easy chairs in their air conditioned living rooms with full stomachs…. All the while posting vile hatred towards the very system that afforded them these luxuries. Heck, even a dog knows it doesn’t bite the hand that feeds it.

Very true. It's more about saying the right thing, more than actual action that makes a difference.
Thats how we get 'tax the rich' at the met gala.

I think our socialist revolution should start with everyone giving me their salaries.

No sir. However I think you would find a much better chance of finding the happiness you are desperately looking for if you moved to North Korea.

    Probably.

they are very 'happy', all the grocery stores are packed with food, beautiful apartments, haircuts regulated by law, no drug use, the religion is the state, really just a paradise.

Oh wait, that's only the part they let you see while the military makes sure you only go where they want you to go and see what they want you to see.

I can only wonder why the people are turning to opium.

Perhaps it would accomplish more if Christians actually followed the teachings they beat others over the head with. Not likely gonna convert non-believers by rank hypocrisy. Just sayin'....

The Bible is absolutely filled with knowledge but I agree wholeheartedly with JN.
Most "Christians" are doing nothing but paying lip service to the Bible.

Look in a mirror if you can stand it Charley.

I can’t speak for that, don’t know you. Wouldn’t put it past you based on behavior here.

you’re certainly not in the bottom picture.
The president can’t even read a teleprompter. I certainly wouldn’t want him reading to my kid.
