It turns out that Ayers did not know Obama that well, and Ayers is not a villian

No, but Obama just won a popularity contest handed to him in large part by the mindless, brainwashed youth of a desparate nation if we want to make comparisons.

Not every issue gets to rely on opinions alone. Many people would like to turn them into that. The left would like to make us believe that there is no such thing as right or wrong anymore based on historic principles.

I see O'Reilly fight with individuals on issues where there should be no argument, yet there's always somebody, at times obviously fighting for nothing more than the sake of evil, and/or to take the opposing side. Sometimes it's hard to believe.

You know I remember the Huntley & Brinkely report on NBC in the 60s. I think they reported the news with an even hand. I could be wrong. But I was at a party at the Museum of Modern Art around 1989 or 90. And I overheard Bill O'reilly stating if he had to lose his cool to get a story out, he would. It was show business he said. Now this was when he was on Inside Edition, so maybe he found principles after that. But I suspect what you see on his show are images of self worth.

I don't see anything wrong with the show. All he does is bring guests on, asks them reasonable question about their views and lets them dig their own grave.

For example. When they get some lawyer on there trying to explain why we now all of a sudden need to remove the word "God" from the pledge of allegiance in schools, I'd like to know why this person feels that it isn't good enough that anybody has the right to not say the whole pledge if they don't feel like it. Why now, we need to make this mundane change and force it on everybody for the sake of usually one person.

At one time, that was a big issue that flared up. Everybody was talking about it. That's not driving an agenda.

    David,

Labeling what one won't even consider is just another form of lying and hypocracy if you get down to it.

Obama is the "messiah". Obama is the "King". These are labels given by people such as yourself. I have yet to run into an Obama supporter that has used these terms. Yet you seem to think this is how we all see him and publish it frequently. Does this not make you a liar?
A far stretch? Perhaps but perhaps not. Repeat it enough times and more and more conservatives will start to believe that is really HOW ALL Obama supporters see him.
Tell a lie enough times and it becomes the truth.

Not long ago I was referred to as a "sicko" by a new member "arizona jack" (who really reminds me of Level Headed for some odd reason). I hadn't even commented in that particular thread but there I was being labeled as a sicko.

What is the definition of a sicko? Why would he call me one? Is it because he has some inner hatred toward me? Is it maybe because I dare bring up different points of view that aren't in line with his?

BINGO! methinks. Until I am proven to be a "sicko" by a team of "sickooligists" is this not a lie?

Or perhaps I am a "sicko" no more than you are a "buffoon" David. Opinions or lies?

Here's part of my original post in this thread.

Is this a lie or a legitimate question?
    Now here's the next post.

Do I agree with this? Not really. Hilllary may well have said that - doesn't mean I agree with her and I certainly don't think O'Rielly is all that balanced.
I do agree with the Hannity opinion though.
    Key thing here is opinions.

    Finally this.

I rarely agree with what the "other side" says but I don't automatically condemn it as "lies and hypocracy".

I attemped to inject a little realism into the is thread and all I see are doors being slammed shut.

In my opinion that is a problem. A problem that plagues this nation.

I know you know thats not true at all. He likes stirring things up a bit and he admitted it himself. Oh and by the way; the oringinal Pledge of Alligence didnt have the word god in it. Now I know you knew that!

Gee, it looks like you have issues with Jack that you need to resolve...take a deep breath. It's funny that you respond to my post but 90% of what you wrote was about not getting the love from Jack that you are entitled to. What's up?

As far as the King & Messiah titles go....you really give me too much credit. I didn't invent them, just repeating what everyone (Obama supporters & lucent citizens alike) have been claiming.

In fact, wasn't it Obama who proclaimed "we are the ones we have been waiting for"?
His campaign called him "Chosen One".
Oprah (& many others) referred to his "Messianic qualities"
His European supporters dubbed him "The New King of America"

So to claim I started this is appreciated but sadly I can not take the credit- the credit goes to your Obama, your Chosen One, your Messiah, your King and his minions.

No kidding David, it seems you are just echoing opinions that you hear from more, shall we say, creepy pundits. And no comment on the Pledge, huh?

"Yeah, I changed my board name from Level Headed to be more transparent. You would not know anything about that tho, honesty and transparency, now would you ? Your use of the words liar and hypocrite are sickening, therefor you are a sicko with ZERO credibility. Your " honest Clembo " crap is bunk. You actions are that of a parasite.

As well you should know I knew that "God" was added sometime during the 50's to make us feel like we were better than the commies. Regardless of the original reason, or timing, or why we do it now, it is blown way out of proportion by people who think everything should be changed to affect everybody in order to please one person.

We said the pledge my entire school career and nobody ever had a problem with it except for one guy that was a jehova witness. He sat for the pledge. We didn't make fun of him. We might have asked him a couple times why he wouldn't stand for it but he wasn't ridiculed. He was actually in my group of friends. That was his own deal. His own perspective. We respected that.

Now, when it comes to the firearm issue, the gun owners don't demand that non-gun owners should all have guns. But the anti-gunners expect everybody to think like them and nobody should have anything because "they don't like it." Do we see the hypocrisy in this B.S.?

BTW, this is getting way off topic now.

You are right...Ayers is a villian...Obama is indebted to him and there are a whole lot of left wingers around who will make excuses for Ayers & apologies for Obama.
