It Has Begun

I am conservative and I'll say it. I am not a fan of increasing the debt ceiling one red cent, much less five trillion. I don't care if it is left or right asking for it. The fed can manage my money the way my family manages my money. If it isn't there, we don't spend it.... And I'll take it one step further. My momma taught me to tend to my own mess and never, ever expect others to tend my mess for me. It sickens me to know my kids and grandkids will be dealing with this mess long after I am gone.... Thing is, I don't see the means to an end with this. A family may take on debt to start a business or buy a home. That is a responsible use of debt. However, using the credit card to buy trinkets is not responsible use of debt and best I can see, the Fed has maxed out the card and is applying for more..... Not a fan of debt at all.

 

How are you all feeling on the massive medicare cuts the Republicans are trying to ram through?

My understanding is that it's pretty unpopular across the spectrum.

 

I’ll bite. Medicare is funded by those of us that work and pay into it. It is there for my neighbor to use when they are down on their luck and need a doctor. It is not there to provide medical care for illegal immigrants that have not paid to fund the pot. As I understand it, this is the Medicare cut that has everyone up in arms and it is plain as the nose on your face. You didn’t pay in so you don’t get to use it. There, that wasn’t too hard was it?

 

May I humbly refer the members to the actions of the U.S. Justice Dept., yesterday, concerning Medicare Fraud, Theft that is a mild description of what was perpetuated against The People, and explain to me why any U.S. Citizen or LEGAL Resident would argue against realigning CMMS, and stopping the harm foisted on all of us by the Previous administration, that time and time again ignored an didn't give a damn about demands for investigation of the damage to our Health system, and simply wanted more money to allow the illegal activity to continue?

I won't state the $ here, it is easy for everyone to do their own research (with the caveat that liberal Media is not quite helpful to your research since the crimes are being ignored by same).

Before our esteemed Resident Social Conscience member decides to preserve and protect and defend the allowance of these crimes committed in the name of humanity and freedom for the poor and destitute and illegal aliens...and try to build an argument that the Democrat POTUS was hampered in the investigation by the Federal Republicans … THE INVESTIGATION ONLY STARTED 6 MONTHS AGO.

Please remind me who was POTUS at that time?

 

It's not just cutting providing to undocumented immigrants, by far. However, even if it were, it's still bad to do like this. Hospitals will still treat people if they show up needing aid, regardless of their ability to pay. This means they'll essentially be doing this for free now, losing billions. Hospitals are warning that (especially rural hospitals) will crumble and shutter under this plan.

It’s important to understand that if it hadn’t been for Biden and the democrats, a majority of the mess that Trump is cleaning up would not even exist.

My suggestion would be for illegal aliens to return to their home countries and receive medical care there and at their own expense or at the expense of their own country. In the meantime, of course, no one will be turned away from hospitals in the United States thanks mostly to Hill-Burton.

Additionally, the Big Beautiful Bill allots $50 billion to rural hospitals.

The invasion of the benefit-snatchers has not befallen the rural hospitals like it has those in the liberal-dominated sanctuaries in this nation. If they're going to invite this scourge, let'em suffer the losses!

 

The real root of the problem here is that we have had far too many years of the Fed creating a class…. Rather an entire generation that expects to be hand carried through life by the almighty Fed. That’s rather like expecting mom and dad to spoon feed you from cradle to grave. Freedom from the Fed is a gift. Self reliance is the only way a person can achieve self worth. In short, removing Medicare for people that didn’t earn it was a favor to be appreciated.

The sister number to that amount is the previous CMMS Fraud losses of $52 Billion (2017 NIH Report) .... 2011 Losses (Post ACA) = $12 Billion.....2020-2024 Losses (Post COVID ) $14.6 Billion, WHICH, INCIDENTALLY BETWEEN 2008 AND 2016 EXPERIENCED THE LARGEST AMOUNT OF U.S. HOSPITALS CONVERTING TO FOR PROFIT PRIVATE OWNERSHIP IN HISTORY.

Funny how math works, isn't it.

I am certain the Rural Healthcare System Hospitals and Clinics are going to be just fine, with the passage by the House of this Bill, and forwarding the Bill to the Resolute Desk for signature...WITHOUT THE USE OF AN AUTOPEN.
