ICE agents have to identify themselves only to the person who is being arrested and then only "as soon as it is practical and safe to do so" according to the Department of Homeland Security regulations (not laws).

I know of no laws (or policies) that require any law enforcement personnel to identify themselves as such other than to the person being arrested.

I know there is a law being considered in Cali that would require ICE agents to wear identifiers, but that law hasn’t passed.

Undercover agents (not in uniform and not outwardly identifiable as law enforcement) arrest people all the time and have done so for many, many years. It’s common practice. I think what’s upsetting some people is that the ICE agents are wearing gear that might be normally associated with the type of gear Antifa would wear (i.e, masks, all black clothing, combat boots, etc.). The all-black outfits could be a bit intimidating, I suppose, but only if someone is easy intimidated. However, I personally am not easily intimidated so it doesn’t really bother me. I understand the reasoning behind the pseudo-military gear and have no problem with it.

 

Yes, I understand they're walking the line of loopholes. Hopefully those get patched soon because we can't go on like this.

 

Almost 80 million people actually did vote for exactly this. So yes, it can go on like this. And hopefully does, until every one of the illegal invaders are removed.

 

History will recognize this administration as the monsters they are. I know it because my generation will be telling and writing the history long after he and his generation is gone.

 

And more generations will be correcting your errant one afterward.

 

A LOT more of your generation voted for POTUS Trump than you realize. Not everyone from your generation lives in a blue city. It wont be nearly as easy as you believe it will be to mischaracterize this administration as you think.

This administration is saving America for you. You're just much to ignorant to understand. One day you'll wake up, more years and wisdom under your belt, and you'll realize the self sacrifice and favor POTUS Trump and his administration did to save this country for you.

 

Don’t forget to write in your re-telling of history that the U.N. Secretary General called President Trump “a man of peace”.

Hadn't considered this angle, makes a lot of sense though. He's so old and out of shape, rambling about nothing every day, it's no wonder other world leaders mock him.

It matters if the person was in violation of the law, and…if there were actually “ clandestine prisons “.
