As I was getting ready for work this morning I watched POTUS address airmen in Qatar. He even brought Lee Greenwood with him to entertain the fellows. POTUS gave a warm, embracing and very patriotic address...... All morning long my little news feed thing, "Trump Goes On Tirade".... "Trump The Dictator Rails At Troops"..... For crying out loud..... What in the hell is wrong with these people????
I wonder what these libs would do in 2025 if JFK were here to tell them "Don't ask what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country"....... Man, if that wasn't a whole different democrat party. Today's left would have gone stark raving mad.

Let Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, India and Pakistan, fight till the death. -Arranging for the release of hostages is wrong. -China should control the Panama Canal. -Lowering taxes for our taxpaying citizens is a terrible plan. -Finding and eliminating waste, fraud, abuse and corruption is bad for the taxpayer. -Boys should be allowed in girls sports. -Men and boys should be allowed to shower and change in front of our daughters. -Negotiating for the return and release of violent, law breaking, terrorist, gang members, back to our country is the American way. -Support school libraries to stock pornographic, sexually depraved books* for elementary age children. -Believe little boys and girls should be able to arrange for hormone blockers to be administered without parental consent or even parents being aware. As a fellow that served in the armed forces during a Carter and a Reagan presidency, I can say this with all candor...... Being conservative these last four years was far more akin to watching an 18 wheeler in the wrong lane barrelling headlong towards your car than drawing scary pictures on the wall. One day you may be able to see the bigger picture at play.

Gene…. There are providers and there are takers in this world.it really is that simple. JFK was speaking to something deeper inside the human psyche than checking the proper partisan boxes. JFK’s battle against segregation was a genuine battle. Not an ideological check mark. In fact JFK was flying in the face of many in his party…… Don’t you see? Trump is wildly popular because he is an idealist with character. Even if that character may be offensive to some. JFK was not a man that blindly followed the partisan line. Neither is Trump. This blind following a party line is yesterday’s news. People are hungry for genuine humanity behind the partisan mask.
I agree with that, i just can't see Trump as that man. He's like a professional hater. On some level I respect how committed he is to the craft.
Your perception of Trump is based upon shallow, superficial evaluation. You've done no digging into his true persona, letting his unrepresentative, impulsive blurtings and the carefully laden politically-motivated media traps influence your perception of him. If I was given only to my first impressions of him, and allowed the agenda-driven mass media to shape my opinion of him, rather than digging into what really motivates him, I would probably align with you. I didn't allow myself to be so manipulated . . . you shouldn't allow yourself to be either.
One of the best approaches to understanding the inner workings of Donald J. Trump was the way Bill Maher elucidated how his one on one over dinner, not exactly one on one since Kid Rock was there, how different President Trump is, beyond his public persona. For the record, I am not a fan of Maher. However, he seemed fair in his characterization of Trump, in private. That is the person MAGA supporters see when they look at our POTUS.
In my experience, liberals are given to rapid formation of their opinions and assignation of labels, with little patience for looking under the hood so, frankly, I'm not surprised.
