Khalil places himself squarely among the top few representatives of Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), an organization which makes no bones about the unacceptable means by which it strives to achieve an end. The following are Khalil's own words in August 2024 . . .

“What we will see [is] the students will continue their activism, will continue doing what they’ve done in conventional and unconventional ways. So not only protests, not only encampments, kind of any — any available means necessary to push Columbia to divest from from Israel,” said Mahmoud Khalil, student negotiator on behalf of Columbia University Apartheid Divest.

“And we’ve been working all this summer on our plans, on what’s next to pressure Columbia to listen to the students and to decide to be on the right side of history,” Khalil added.

Among other things, Khalil chooses to represent a group whose position is that demonstrating by other than peaceful means is acceptable . . . that violent coercive action is not only acceptable, but necessary.

Some night argue that this organization's position is identifiable only as some one-time accidental slip-of-the-tongue, but it is not. CAUD persistently hammers away with their message and proposed methods, and are a clear danger, not only to innocents in their way, but also to the same political goals that other groups might achieve by peaceful means (Liberals surely would dislike the linked source, but it is well-cited).

Screw the pissants who conceal his involvement in the agenda of CUAD. They can go straight to Hell.

Given the extensive citations in the linked Mauro piece, and how quickly you responded, you obviously did not even explore enough of the available linked information, let alone digest it.

 

Skimmed it, saw it was all about CUAD, often not even quotes, just interpreting things as the author saw fit. I don't think it included a single quote by Khalil, wasn't interested. I'm willing to concede I might have missed quotes by him in the skim, but they certainly buried the lede if there was direct quotes.

Thus, I stand by having not seen anything objectionable out of Khalil.

Say what you got to, as long as it helps you avoid bringing up damning quotes by Khalil himself you supposedly object to.

 

It bothers Khalil that his limited powers of reason and those of his organization are unable to sway others, so he’s resorted to force, becoming a leader of an organization that espouses violence instead of peace.

You align with such methods.

Honestly I do t pay this attention seeking individual any nevermind. But I been hearing this narrative for a while and I just thought I would do a quick search. All I find is headline upon headline that are all similar to the one below….. And thing is I see now what drives this narrative. The guy had sense enough to not use social media to post his hateful leanings. This would be akin to Hitler telling his generals to murder the Jews behind closed doors. I get it. It’s all another left narrative that is meaningless in the overall scheme of things but all are hoping will gain some traction somewhere. Another losing hill to die on is all it is.

It was a New York Post headline. The man represents bigotry and racism in its most hateful and destructive form. Is that really the hill you want to die on? Think about that. Really... You don't think that man wouldn't roll an unattended baby stroller into traffic if the baby were of Jewish decent? Eradication of the Jews. that's what he represents and lives his live to accomplish. There is no love of humanity in that.... Do you REALLY want to die on this hill?

Edit... Netenyahu said it best.... This is akin to appointing Colonel Sanders as head of the "Save The Chickens" movement. Sheesh man...

I wish I could find the clip I heard several years ago of the US soldier recounting a raid on a Taliban held area. The soldiers with their Afghani cohorts were clearing the building after the firefight and came upon a Taliban infant. The Afghan soldiers raised their rifle to extinguish the child when the US Soldiers made them stop. The Afghan soldier didn't understand as allowing the child to live would only mean another Taliban soldier to fight in twenty years...... This is the mindset of a Kahlil or anyone else that places their own existence on a higher level than that of another human beings..... Yes, just the simple fact that he does lead anti-Jewish movements paints him as a dangerous and destructive bigot of the worst kind. So go ahead and die on your principled hill. I would rather defend the hill that stands for true equality and the very death of hate and bigotry. He must go and not have the ability to ingrain this level of hate to young developing minds in my country.

 

You didn’t follow the linked to the extent you should solely because you don’t want your eyes opened to the fact that they are not lies. If they were links supporting your agenda, you’d follow every one of them to the very end.

 

I don't know how you can say all that in the midst of the Palestinians undergoing genocide.

 

Same response I would have given to Germans living in the midst of what I am sure felt like genocide to them in 1945. They asked for the fight and they got it.

 

@Mopar Dude, I'll ask this question one last time. Why on earth would you want to sway the truely ideological racism and bigotry of the left? He, Mr. RIGHT (see the irony there), has stated this is the hill he will die on. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT!!!! We've already proven that MORE THAN half of the voting legal citizens want what President Trump is delivering. LET THEM DIE ON THIS HILL. Mission accomplished if this is their last stand. Abrego Garcia. Check. Kahlil. Check. Illegal immigration. Check. It's like being handed the 2026 mid-terms and the 2028 Presidential on a silver platter.

There is NOTHING President Trump or the Right/Conservatives can say that will change their opinions. So be it. I'm fine with that. From now on I'll be agreeing with everything Mr. Right has to say.
