It Has Begun

I’m glad to see that President Trump has brought this up. As he has said, it will be up to a court to decide, but IMO if these pardons were not signed by Biden and he had no knowledge of them, then the court should naturally rule them null and void.

The question then becomes, “Who actually ‘signed’ these pardons using Biden’s autopen signature and did they commit fraud by doing so?” Asking Biden now whether or not he recollects signing them is a lost cause. The man doesn’t even know what day it is.

 

Nope. This is too stupid. The man is either an idiot or clearly doesn't respect his followers.

The real question here is: what is this distracting from? I guess we'll know when the next embarrassment drops.

 

There is a reason Mortgages, Bank Accounts, Auto purchases, Passport Applications, Green Card Applications, Immigration Documents, ....as examples of equal import....require original signature.

Same with official U.S. Government Documents executed by the Executive in accordance with the U.S. Constitution.

 

Heck, I couldn't even scan and send my signatures for all our corporate tax returns. Had to hand carry them to the CPA so he could scan and email them.

Have you watched Trump continually sign EO's in front of the press? I think that is a calculated move. How many of Joe's EO's have the autopen signature?

Nobody truly knows when Biden will drop, but I'm sure there are plenty out there who would take bets on it being before he takes the stand.

You were quick to exclaim that President Trump hadn’t declassified the documents at Mar-a-Lago and now, somehow, you seem to know that Biden actually signed those pardons.

Man, for someone who isn’t even in the United States, you seem to know for certain how these things were actually done! Do you have insider information into the Trump White House and the Biden White House? Or do you just pull these things out of your ass? Don’t answer that; we already know the answer.

I expect that the next scholarly attempt the clown will use to make his position on autopen signing quite acceptable for official documents, is something along the lines of

"...blahblahblah...and Jefferson invented the Autopen and produced in real time a copy of everything he signed, so there.....".

The facts":
Jefferson did not invent the Autopen. It was patented in 1803, and Jefferson obtained one very quickly. A sign of technical sign of the times change tidbit, for those that like that kind of stuff (like me), it was known as a Polygraph Machine. HMMMMM....

Bush did ask DOJ about using an Autopen on a life or death case, and received dispensation (he did not sign the document in question with an Autpen) BUT (there is always a "but"), the issue of POTUS use of an Autopen has never been tested in Court, and many Constitutional scholars opine it is about time, given the nature of technology.

It is not so much an issue of the legality of an Autopen....that is here to stay.

The legal question is more an issue of whether the Principal (POTUS) and the Proxy (Autopen) were together at the time of signing.

POTUS Trump is very astute in presenting the issue for consideration by the People and the Courts, and I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Smalltown that POTUS Trump...it is definitely a calculated move, and I personally add a brilliant one.
