Looks like the truce is off. Just long enough for the Palestinians to re-arm themselves it seems. Is Israel wrong to defend themselves against daily rocket attacks and suicide bombers? ///////////////////////////// GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - Israeli planes pounded Hamas targets and rival Palestinian factions exchanged bursts of automatic weapons fire outside Gaza City's Islamic University on Friday, as a volatile mix of Israeli strikes and Palestinian infighting plunged Gaza deeper into chaos. Five Palestinians were killed in a single airstrike by Israel. Israel said the strike was in response to Hamas rocket attacks on southern Israel—a campaign that persisted on Friday with Hamas firing three rockets at the town of Sderot. Three people in the town were injured by shrapnel and several others were treated for shock. http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8P6T2B80&show_article=1
Israel it seems to me has been trying to ensure that Hamas does not get to strong so that it would dominate the PLO. Israel of course sees both as evil but Hamas sees itself quicker to want to get to allah where the PLO leaders like thier rich lifestyle to much to be in a hurry henceforth Hamas is more of a threat. This is why over the past 7 years or so Hamas leadership has been the target of selected take outs.
