In your opinion what exactly is one? What actions constitute qualifications as a "terror apologist or sympathizer?" Would not wishing you a Merry Christmas be considered a sign, how about Happy Easter or Halloween? Would someone who doesn't drink alcohol be a possible suspect. What if this person had a negative view of the current administration and supported an organization like CAIR? Would this individual be considered a sympathizer. What if they were Muslim? In you honest opinion what actions make one an (Islamic) Terrorist Apologist or Sympathizer...
A supporter or cair most definately. Sympathizers and apologists are those who say if we leave them alone they will leave us alone or it is all our fault for starting it, etc. These people are the same ones who beleiive that America is the root of all evil and not the solution to all evil. They are the liberal hollywood types, someone that beleives that there is a christian conspiracy to control the govt. They love the ACLU, where communism is the goal, and equally they love their abortions on demand and gay marraige and rampant abuse of vices and pornography, which is ironic because some of those things are exactly why we are being attacked in the first place by the muslim extremists. The must be closet misogynists and racists and well as self loathing. Oh, and 99% of all muslims make the other 1% look bad. This all IMO.
An often quoted saying is that there are no dumb questions. A less quoted saying is that there are any number of dumb ways to ask a question. Your question offers no alternative to being an apologist or a sympathizer. You aren't asking a question so much as you are making a judgement. "How often do you beat your wife", begs for a numerical answer not whether or not you beat your wife. For instance, a person could have any number of beliefs, moral convictions, or be a life-long, card-carrying Muslim and never sympathize in anyway with a terrorist of any sort. I could, and do, hate the current administration for the things they have done with the good name of my country and yet in no way would I ever condone any of the actions taken by any terrorist against them or my country. If there is one group on this planet outside of the terrorist's network that has done more to further the terrorist's cause, it is clearly the Bush Administration. I don't hate the Bush Administration because I have any sort of allegiance to their enemies, I hate the Bush Administration because they have made it easier for those enemies of our country to get at the rest of us. 9/11 was a prime example and probably the most overt display of how we are more vulnerable to terrorists because of the ineptness of this administration. We are even less safe today. I don't know how anyone could sympathize with evil men capable of such atrocities but I do know that not standing up for better protection and wiser decision makers is tantamount to walking up the the executioners block and lying ones head down in the center and yelling NOW!. If we don't stand up to our own incompetent leaders and demand they protect everything we stand for, how can we ever hope to stand up to men that are evil and care not for our cries. If your blind patriotism carries us all over the edge of the abyss, who will be left to challenge either side? So, am I a sympathizer or an apologist in your opinion? You formed your opinions within the ranks of an organization that has to have an enemy to justify it's existence. You didn't have the luxury of asking any questions because none were allowed. You were bullied into submission to conform to the expectations of your duties. You served a purpose. Now that you are no longer under those contraints and have the luxury to question what you are told, you choose to not exercise that right. You are drawn to the message of authority like a junkie is drawn to heroin. You don't know or care why, you just do. Maybe the question you should be asking is, Why are some people apologists and sympathizes of the inexcusable actions of their own government?
With your signature line bq, I have to reiterate: You formed your opinions within the ranks of an organization that has to have an enemy to justify it's existence. It also explains your inability to contribute more than trite comments in the face of withering arugements.
BQ, as the old saying goes. "Never argue with an idiot, they'll just drag you down to their level and beat you up with experience." Hey did you get your "Combat Action Medal" yet? This is one which I could apply for, but like the "Global War on Terror Medal" it hit the books after I was on Terminal Leave and I'm just too lazy to submit paperwork for a DD215... http://www.blackhillspatriot.com/articles/2007/04/13/news/news03.txt
You always have the option to dismiss someone's opinion and call them idiots for express it, but you come off looking like the bigger idiot for do so. As I originially asserted, you weren't asking a question, you were making a statement. If you had actually been interested in what people thought, you wouldn't simply dismiss an opinion because it was in opposition to your predetermined answer. Why do you bother Bone?
Hey look BQ someone's brain is withering, it's almost down to the size of an Associate Degree... Remember, "I before E except after C, and E before N in chicken" it will serve you well... <vbg>
I don't need to get into a peeing contests over typos if that is all you have to come back with, my point is made. Nice gun. Take a look down the barrel and see if it's loaded. P.S. The spelling rule is actually "i" before "e" except after "c" AND when the combination sounds like a long "ā" as in the word weight (wāt). Just so ya know. Curious, does 100% DAV mean 100% Dumb-Ass-Verteran? You got me convinced.
I posted that for just for you. Isn't living in America wonderful... Oh, let me know what day you'll be at the coin show. Remember, I'll be in Rantoul, IL near the end of the month and I'll have it with me. DAV means your tax dollars pay me well, Ben
I sort of wondered when you would use that threat. You know if you do show up and I copy this thread and show it to them, you won't be allowed on the premises. Frankly, threatening anybody with a gun on CoinTalk isn't all that bright either.
Moen, if you show ANYBODY this thread they'll run off, because stupidity is contagious and your a one man epidemic...
You are the type of person that gives gun ownership a bad name. You're under the illusion that you're greater than you are when you have one in your and and see it as a solution to your problems instead of a tool. Guns don't kill people, idiots with guns kill people. In my family, we always had a tradition of responsible gun ownership. We didn't brag about how many and what kind we owned and flashed them about like trophies. They didn't make us any tall, any tougher, or any more macho. If you could live up to these principles, you wouldn't be making veiled threats and puffing up your chest like an idiot. Nobody is impressed.
See Below:loud: :loud: You don't know me TROLL. Everyone from OldDan to Guardian has OWNED YOU and it looks like I've got the better of you now too, LOL Everyone, take note. Moen posts an accurate statement. Don't give me that crap, you've said in the past you don't own one and don't like those who own them. Your a lieing hypocrite. In our family we don't arbitrarily BAD MOUTH and Pass Judgement on individuals who own and collect guns. You've said repeatedly they should be outlawed. Good Luck with that, Jeez... But then again, I'll bet there's probably a valid reason you don't have one and it's not personal choice either... Your bitter, angry, and stupid, not a good way to go thru life. IF you have sons like you've posted in the past I really feel sorry for them...
You can make up any statement you want about me and you can misquote me until hell freezes over but you have had to resorted to lying to make your stupid rant sound credible. How sad. I have said that I don't like irresponsible people with guns. Show me one post where I've said guns should be outlawed. I don't believe all guns should be outlawed so I wouldn't have said it. Yeah, you've really shown here that you OWN me. You haven't been able to counter one thing I've post so far and you are getting angrier and louder by the moment. Your crescendo climaxed with threatening to come to the Chicago coin show on the day I'll be there with your gun. You are a sad little person that lives vicariously through the barrel of a gun. Get some anger management help.
I own several guns, and I love to shoot them. What purpose does an unshot gun serve??? beats me, I never had it happen.
