Liberals have no platform and no agenda other than to increase taxes to pay for more government program at the expense of people that work, produce, and make this country great.

Other than redistributing MORE of our tax revenues from the producers of this country to their core audience, they have become the party of "anti-this" and "anti-that".

Here are some examples:

Listening to suspected terrorist phone calls to the middle east - ANTI
School Choice - ANTI
National Defense - ANTI (there are many liberals that want NO miliary, right Danr?)
Private Social Security Accounts - ANTI
Stopping illegal immigrants - ANTI
End of affirmative action - ANTI
Woman's Civil Rights - (only in America)...the rest of the world, ANTI
Capitalism - ANTI
Reducing Taxes - ANTI
Immigration Reform and Enforcement - ANTI

Just stick this up to your head so the world will know what kind of rational and logic we are dealing with...

Old Dan I would be quite happy to hear a British Prime Minister make that speach but I would add Canada to list 1 along with Germany as they both have some great Ice Hockey teams :thumb: but I will say I am sick and tired of my country providing aid to those who then try to kick us in the teeth.

I have absolutely nothing against Canadians, they are a fine bunch of individuals. Now some of the transplants I have some doubt about.

As for knowing an Indian named 'Strong like Mountain' , can't say I know a single one of them. I do know a couple of them that 'Smells like Mountain'. Does that count?:thumb:

I like Canadians. I love Canada and not to sound liberal but I even have Canadian friends from across the lake whose children play with my kids. There are a lot of transplanted or part time Canadian residents in Southern Florida.

And for the record the United States invaded Canada twice but it was to cold so I guess we decided just to have the warmth of their friendship instead of their land. Got to love the Maple Leaf.

Just like any country, it's full of the good and the bad! I spent my summers on Manitoulin Island, Ont for over 30 years and I have met both. It always seemed like they really didn't want you there but as long as you were spending money, they would tolerate you. I have many good friends that I still keep in touch with but alas, many are gone. I know the Canadian Govt. disagrees with many U.S. policies but in the long run they will always be there, right behind us. Did I mention they have really cool coins? Expensive, but very attractive.

I Never really could figure out the French Canadians though. They seem to hate everyone including their own countrymen. If Quebec had their way they wouldn't even want to be called Canadian.

 

How come you can travel all over the US and never see a Canadian restaurant? What the heck do they eat up there that is so awful that no single Canadian has ever been able to franchise it into a chain of eating establishments? Mexicans can do it. Italians can do it. Germans do it and even a British pub pops up occasionally. Why not Canadian restaurants?
