Bring you to tears? Does music emotionally touch you? Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix / Stevie Ray Vaughn can make me tear up at times. Reminds me of Los Angeles at the height of my addiction. I lost a girlfriend to an overdose.....it will forever be my favorite song. If I've had more than a beer or two, I will sometimes actually cry. I have spent a lifetime , learning/perfecting/playing it. Maybe one day I'll post a link to youtube or something, I have lots of footage of my band but it is all VHS, I need to convert it to digital.
I rarely tear up listening to a song but there are several that I could never sing without losing it half way through. But then again that is why I only sing in the shower.
One that can bring back memories is Baker Street by the Late great Mr Rafferty and then there is Too Old to Rock 'N' Roll: Too Young to Die by Tull but if I am realy feeling blue I listen to Leonard Choen's stuff it makes me feel better
I can cry at many songs. The Christmas shoes makes me cry because I think of my mom when she was sick with cancer. I also cry at Daddy's hands because this song was played at my dads funeral.
