You have to realize...everything on TV is either fictional, aspirational, or someone's interpretation of reality. I fear we're getting more and more drawn into our TVs and social media. I know I am.

 

a lot of you older housebound folks lead a rich online fantasy life.

 

I want to help a little:

Consider the possibility that the ship has floundered, because of a lack of safe Land.

The above words I posted admirably explains the basis of all conflict, even now, and even in the U.S., and serves as a possible thought idea to explore the truth of a yesterday that never was.

It is the bullseye for the 2,000 year conflict in the Middle East.

It is the honey that fuels the actions of Communist China and the Soviet Union.

It is the elixir that fueled the Hitlers of history.

It is the syrup of ipecac causing regurgitation from Americans onto the chest of other Americans.

I don't care at all what a person claims as their political affiliation. I don't care who is or isn't POTUS. I don't care if a person is a High School Grad or a PHD. I don't care if a person just has fun yanking chains.

I damn well care if I can trust the person to have my 3/6/9. While I do appreciate you are having fun and probably don't espouse to some if not all of the your purposely caustic replies in an effort to keep things lively, I am concerned, based on the words of your posts only, about your ability or willingness to fulfill my trust criteria.

Point being. You cannot erase the history that is convenient to you and then use the history that suits your narrative to brow beat others over the head with. They have a word for that. It’s called hypocrisy.
