Is it Time to Raise Taxes?

As I have posted before...anyone who wants to say we can balance the budget, let alone bring down the debt, without raising taxes needs to find about 1.5 trillion worth of cuts from this:

The budget debates today are all smoke and mirrors. 10 billion? 60 billion? That's nothing. A chimp could cut that much throwing a dart at a dart board in one throw. Find $1.5 trillion.

 

I will put about as much credulity in that statement as I will that BO spending programs will keep the unemployment rate below 8%.

You once tried to tell me not to assume what you were thinking. How about you not assuming what I have or have not done? You (the Democrats) have had your go at economics. Did not work too well, did it?

 

I you want to guarantee that you do not get elected then advocate raising taxes. I notice that the roads are falling into disrepair but that fact will only make me by new tires. If gasoline hits ten dollars a gallon then I will pay what I have to get me from point A to point B. If I run out of money then my feet will do the walking.
