Is Al-Qaeda still a threat?

Exactly, we are at war with more than one country, but for some odd reason we will not name names. That is a shame. We are at war with an Islamic religion that is still living in the dark ages.

Soooo, what is your point there? We are a rational nation and wanted to help them rebuild, and?

Do you think the Japanese got the message when we dropped the bomb on their country? If the U.S. did something like warn these terrorists Muslims nations the next time the U.S. gets attacked and it is a Muslim who committed the act, one of your holy sites gets whiped off the map. Of course you will kill innocent people, but so did the bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima and we have lived with peace alongside the Japs and Germans since. We ALL do know that these terrorists are Muslims and are being manipulated into attacking us. So, we do the same. And in order to win a war you kill more of them before they kill of you. I am all for using our smart bombs on them to show that we are serious about stopping these attacks.

It doesn't matter how many terrorists there are in this day and age we live in. Countries can sell or give these terrorists NUKES that can equalize the size of a vast military! When Iran and Syria sell weapons to Hezbollah or Al Qaeda and those weapons kill U.S. soldiers, that my friend is attacking US!

If that were your position before we dropped the bombs on Naga. and Hiro. then we would have lost millions of innocent American men and women. Maybe you skipped that day in school.

I see you falling into that liberal world where you think the U.S. has to ask permission for us to protect ourselves! Do you actually think we will ask permission to take out a rogue nation before we attack? Do you think the U.S. is losing the Terror War now? Because you say just said we cannot win this war on terror. We are winning the war, don't let liberal media tell you differently. I would love to see you tell a veteran and a current soldier that they are losing this war!

The percentage of muslims that carry forth these ACTIONS and those that support their ACTS are very alarmining. N.O.P. Research did a scientific study of British muslims living in their country alone and the survey's results is VERY disturbing:

30% of British Muslims would prefer to live under Sharia (Islamic religious) law than under British law.

45% say 9/11 was a conspiracy by the American and Israeli governments. This figure is more than twice as high as those who say it was not a conspiracy. Tragically, almost 25% of British Muslims believe that last year's 7/7 attacks on London were justified because of British support for the U.S.-led war on terror. Look it up! Again, these results are coming from a western country, not some ragged-head sand pit of the world.

I will agree that islamic radicals are fighting a war of attrition. They are used to this. Their religion was founded on the sword and their whole existance has been one big JIHAD (arabic for "struggle") with one purpose in mind...to convert, to tax, to enslave and/or kill infidels all for Islam! Their Koran makes this VERY clear how unbelievers are to be handled and dealt with...and these animals make no apologies for their actions which speak volumes whatever words you hear from a "peaceful" muslim cleric on CNN.

I must disagree with the second part of your statement. We were NOT the agressors of this and past wars with islamic radicals. Infidels have been responding to the actions of muslims for over a 1,000 years! The United States alone has been fighitng against muslims since these people attacked our merchant ships off of the Northern coast of Africa (from the Marine Hymn..."to the shores of Tripoli") to our current war against this cancer of the world. You are right. Muslims will drag this out and let the liberal media outlets do their work for them because many Americans have this crazy notion that wars should last no longer than a season of "Sex in the City". Muslims know this and will drag children in front of news crews all in the attempt for them to buy time, regroup, rearm, and continue their sick jihad for another day! History has shown this and worst yet, proved this!

I have the patience to carry the fight to these people, the questions is, "Do other infidels have the will and the patience to fight this cancer of the world?"

It is not a matter of do we have to? It is a matter of WE MUST!

 

Great post Midas. If people can't see your un-biased, non-partisan and factually correct British polls and understand what is going on around us we would be much more united against these fascist Muslims.

It sickens me when I hear and read someone compare our actions and intentions with those of the terrorists.

By making a statement like that shows me that a lot of people actually think the U.S. is on some sort of moral par by confronting them. And to say our actions in protecting ourselves will breed more terrorists! It has been shown that doing nothing (Clinton) breeds more and more of thier hatred towards us. I prefer option 1, which is to confront the real aggressors Iran and Syria with overwhelming mass casualties, then moving on to N. Korea and doing the same. If these aggressors are living in the 7th century now, put them in the 1st century. I am tired of these attacks on our way of life and I want something done NOW!

 

How about we stop all trade with any Muslim country, stop all aid, stop all contact, including Air, Sea & Land. Boycott the purchase of any and all of there goods, Deport all of there citizens back to them, close down all diplomatic links

Not as simple as it sounds. The trouble is that the West is addicted to oil and unfortunately, 70% of the world's oil in right below where these S.O.B.'s live and breed. Once we figure out a way not to be so dependent on muslim oil, the faster we can tell these people to "shove it".

That is why I believe this country and the rest of the civilized world MUST develop and implement alternative fuel-uses ASAP! Otherwise, I shuttle to think that for every barrell of oil we purchase (because we HAVE to),is just giving muslim jihadists the resources to fund their world-wide jihad.

One of the muslim jihadists yelled out on one of the planes before it slammed into the World Trade Center towers, "Allah Akbar"... so I guess, what's there to worry about? The only people that believe that islamic groups are NOT a threat to our country are those with their head up their butt. There can be no other logical reason. Islamic jihad is in a world wide war against western civilization and until more people from the west truly understand this, the faster we MUST deal with this cancer before it spreads further. Face it people, never in the history of Western civilizations have we had to fight an enemy as 'whacked' as these animals. They are worse than the Nazi's, the Japs, and all other enemies of freedom and liberty, past and present. Why? Because there are no defined military fronts. They are EVERYWHERE and they are using OUR freedoms to expand their base until a time when it is right for them to drag us back to the year 700 A.D.

I guess the question we should ask those that believe that islamic terrorists is NOT a threat is to put up some facts and logic to defend their position.
