solid evidnce that Iran supports terrorists. I do not mean Savage or Hannity, I mean real deal evidence (not like the aluminum tubes).
i've seen some stuff on the military secret net, but nothing i can link here. a lot of it points to iranian special forces being behind the more effective attacks against us. training, cross border smuggling, shape-charged ieds (efp's), and others. also, not long after we first captured a few of their suspected operatives, the most complicated attack on us occurred. http://scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=146492007 i read the significant action report...this was a very nasty attack in the middle of a secure operations center- our troops were caught totally unaware. a strike like this is more along the lines of a SEAL action, rather than a group a rag-tag radicals with monkey-bar obstacle courses in the desert.
How about the embassy take over in 1979? 444 days I think and was only remedied with Ronald Reagan's election to the Presidency. I think that the hostages were released on or the day before or the day after his inauguration. Just a coincidence? Unlke Jimmy, Ronald had big huevos.
Was that gov't sponsored? And as I recall Reagan had them hold those hostages until he was elected (he paid them off with missels in the Iran contra debacle), so it was reagan who really kept them captive to help him gain the White House. If you have evidence that the Iranian state sponsored that please link it.
It may not have been gov't sponsored but one of the main players is now the president of that country. Ziggy
